I get that they aren't fans of it, and that is fine. But if you play the game I think it was made pretty clear that was the direction it was going. You have abby and lilith relationship established since the start of the game and you even have becca trying to make moves on lilith. I just find the reaction to this update really weird.

Because they need something to get mad about. Personally it was established at the beginning and it has been a constant through the entirety of the story. So I understand you and I don't get why they are so mad either. Just something for them to get mad about I suppose.
Could've done perhaps. Maybe he thought that would simply be delaying the inevitable though. Seeing the writing on the wall due to current trends as it were.... he could have done what any decent dev would do and do a minor rewrite. "Dating My Tenant". Obviously (a) it would be delaying the inevitable. While you can try to skim around Patreons guidelines, they are not complete fools and even if you can claim that "technically" you did nothing wrong, they don't need to accept that and can still throw you off for rule violation if it is obvious what you were going for. More importantly however, with that specific game, there was no way in hell it would make any sense at all to try that trick, so my comment was somewhat in jest.Could've done perhaps. My wife ReallyNotTina and I played Lilith’s Longing, so now we’re back to Single Again—back to the scene right after it suggests we try out Lilith’s Longing. You know, when Lilith catches Frank and Abby spooning.
Our first time around, we played the game off Gamcore. This time I downloaded it, and we played that. I don’t know if the Gamcore version is older; I don’t think so. I had to go through our downloaded copy again, just to catch us up. I don’t think we missed anything.
This time I also used a transcription app to record our conversation, so I don’t have to rely on my memory. ReallyNotTina and I read every single line aloud (she does the women’s lines, I do the men’s), so I don’t include most of that. And of course I remove anything she tells me to, because we’re just having fun and I don’t want her worried I’m going to embarrass her. (Even though I don’t think anything she says is embarrassing.) Because if you can’t 100% trust your spouse, your spouse sucks!
So where were we?… “Mwah!” Frank’s dreaming of buck naked fairy-Lilith and fairy-Abigail kissing him, as his subconscious kinda gives him a status update: he’s already made up his mind about Becca, but he’s still gotta decide about Lilly and Abby.
