Was there some point to all this> I stopped reading after the third wah blah wahh wahh.....

Anyone?
While I probably would not have stated it quite that way, HumanistickObserver expresses a point shared to some degree by many who comment here. Frank, according to his comment in the game, is "almost forty years old". We as consumers of the content waited through several updates with the story bogged down in Frank's utter inability to acknowledge the girls obvious agendas. This was mixed by his utter lack of maturity in dealing with those agendas once he began to acknowledge them.

The writer(s) has/have conflated Frank's desire to protect his girls with a refusal to accept that they are each legal adults and wish to expand the terms of each of their relationships with him. This is generally referred to as his "lack of growth". It's an ever more annoying barrier to the progress of the interrelationships between the four major characters.

Many here, I among them, believe it's long past time for Frank to man up and discuss these relationships like an adult, and let the chips fall where they may with each of the girls. It would improve the game and allow for some movement.

Mister Boombastic thank you for sharing with us.

Have a great day/evening/night everyone,

This game crunched using:
YAC - Yet Another Cruncher (A Game Compactor) [V1.3]
YAC Author: hngg

Personal side note, Thank you Zoey Raven for the walk though, I love your work.

PS: This game now officially needs the Ahego Face Tags!! :devilish:

EDIT: I have tested my source files with ClamAV and MSdefender and they tested ok as confirmed by fried here. But with all due caution I have replaced MixDrop with Files.FM. You can never be too cautious these days.
you need to clarify that your game version is for win x32. I downloaded it and ho, surprise, it does not work in x64

Started and finished this game over the weekend.

Overall a fantastic game. I will be checking out the Dev's Patreon options.

A few quick points that I found good/bad in no particular order.

- Artwork is good.
- Animations are not so good (the animated kisses are a little jaring).
- Story is excellent.
- MC is very caring about people, to the point of seeming like a 'Beta' sometimes.
- The characters are well fleshed out and have their own personalities.
- I'm not a huge fan of the LI's discussing their previous 'encounters' which does happen from time to time here.

Overall this is a very good game, with a few minor flaws.

Also, Becca is the single best 'harem lead' character that I have seen in a game in the past several years.

Thanks, Dev for this excellent title, keep up the good work, and best of luck in the future.

1. Is down to the mods here...nothing to do with the dev. Dev doesn't have an account here.
2. There is no 'proper' choice (or right or wrong)...as some effects of the choices happen in updates far further down the road that the mod author isn;t aware of. So, only what the mod author thinks is the right choice.
Be that as it may, the Mod uses such a GOD AWFUL green for the "proper" or "right" (perhaps 'Recommended" might be the better word choice) choice that is nearly impossible to read considering the background on/in the text box/choices.

Just me own personal opinion, but difficulty being able to accurately read the actual choices is a big fail for any mod.

Exactly. Know what I do when I dislike something? Don't waste anymore of my precious time on it.
Not how criticism works. If you dislike something in particular and vocal about it, and enough people share your opinion and express it -that's how changes are made. If enough people share the same negative opinion about something -they may sway author to change or improve it. Albeit if you dislike something fully in all it's entirety -then yeah, I guess there's little chance it'll improve to the point of u liking it.

Except in this case the story is already well underway and the dev has his own plan for how it's going to roll out. The dev isn't going to go back and rewrite the story and generate hundreds of new renders just because some don't like how he scripted the MC; he's got hundreds of patreons who are paying him because they like the game as it stands.

Criticism is one thing. Relentless bash is quite another. One is welcome, the other is not.
Sure, it's allowed to voice your displeasure and to tell about what you don't like about the game but the post in question is just pure bash. Criticism entails showing that there was something about the game you did like. The poster did nothing of that - I just read through it again.
He basically rants on and on about the Main Character. He seems to want an authoritarian alpha dictator character.
I say good luck to him finding that here.

The way I see it is that Frank is so henpecked that he's lost a lot of his self-confidence. He's just starting to find it again when the game starts.
His situation throws him curveball after curveball without giving him time to adjust.
Also, the divorce angle was VERY satisfying. I respect that judge for seeing through the crocodile tears.
He gets custody of the cute one while the hag get nothing. Nice to see the guy win for once.

That's the problem: he doesn't even 'start' to find confidence even a little bit throughout the game, and update by update he keeps repeating the same 'it's wrong', 'i can't do this' etc etc. mantras. It's like there's no growth at all in him. Don't get me wrong i enjoy a lot in this game, the writing is very good, and most other characters are done good as well, some scenes are very satisfying, and evoke emotions that they should, and again do it excellently. But I don't buy the notion that you have to be a pushover, that you have to be weak and to mumble, stutter and question your decisions ALL the time.
You can be kind, caring, loving, protective, gentle person (like some of MC's qualities are) and still be fairly assertive, responsible, decisive, take responsibility and control at least at times or at least have SOME amount of backbone.
Obviously don't turn him into an 'alpha male' or whatever, even by the end of this game(it just wouldn't work), but at least show SOME progress in development of his character. There's virtually none. He keeps having these annoying 'thoughts' with the same words, and even same structure of sentences(and I even skipped some of them and they are still annoying).

Another thing is, why even give us choices if we have to experience this 'already written in stone character'. Choices don't feel impactful at all. If it was just kinetic novel i would've understood, but it's not presented as such. It's not just 'some' people that don't enjoy the MC, it's a LOT of them. And some people, who are ok with MC's character, could've probably enjoyed the game even more, if he wasn't so passive and gutless all the time. Again, you don't have to go to extreme, and i don't get why people do this 'oh you don't want this - means you want extreme opposite, you want 'macho man'' No we don't. We just want some progression, some feeling of our involvement in character, otherwise there's huge disconnect between him and us.

P.S. There was a scene when MC watches porn, and the MC criticizes the cameraman for constantly commenting on the 'action'. I couldn't figure out, was it author trolling us, as if we are that 'cameraman' that keeps trying to tell him what to do with his novel, or was the author himself genuinely that clueless of how his MC is actually kinda like that 'cameraman' to us, with his constant intrusive timid thoughts, except even that cameraman wasn't actually that annoying..

No offense i don't read walls of text, more people would read your post if you use paragraphs and space it out a bit. Of course it's up to you.

Well, good that you could easily have sex with your three daughters 'tenants' so easily. Maybe the story is just trying to show that it is NOT an easy decision. He was shocked, but quite decisive when Beth and Vanessa made their proposal. So it is more when it comes to the other three. I get that you have your opinion, and you are absolutely entitled to it. However, a lot of us (and I know there is a lot of us) think the MC is progressing perfectly fine.

Being a 40+ father myself I think its perfectly acceptable for the MC to not want to acknowledge or accept the feelings of the girls. I can't think of a father (biological or not) that would see this as an easy situation. I like the fact that the author is making the MC appear to be oblivious or deliberately ignoring the girls less than subtle advances. To me it adds a certain amount of "credibility" to the MC. If I had any concerns about the characters at all it would be that I think the girls might be a little to forward about their feelings for their "father figure" almost as if the author feels he needs to move the plot along to avoid people disliking the story. I tend to like slow burners myself as I like "getting to know" the characters since it makes more of an impact when something happens. Anyway that's my feelings/opinion on how things are going so far.

Well put. Exactly my thinking as well. He would wrestle with his conscious for a LONG time. Which is why I like the dream fairies. It's the classic Id, Ego and Superego working things out while he sleeps.
