Some people can take what I am saying as "bitching and moaning", but they misunderstand what I am saying and my point. What they do not understand is I DO like this game, hence why I rated it 4.0 out of 5. Again, that is a very generous rating, and it is more based on the effort and art direction than the actual game as a whole. I appreciate anyone that can make any of these types of games, and obviously effort was put in.
IMO, and likely not just my opinion, to make Frank better and more realistic, he should have been very against the idea of being with his step daughters in the beginning, in the middle of the story conflicted, and in the end all for it (after the time he got with both Becca and Lilith). The writer, as the game is, needs to drive every plot device into you many times over, like you did not get it the first 50 times!
So not only does he maintain this behavior throughout the entire game, this game was obviously intended to be a slow burn. Yet, it takes so many clicks and useless banter in between every scene, you literally hurt your finger clicking so much (I never hold CTRL with these games). Then you get to the scene, and Frank finally has sex with a character. Yet, you cannot just enjoy this, because even when he is doing it, he is conflicted if he should or should not. This was okay the first 1-2 times, annoying by the third time, and outright ruined a lot of scenes the rest of the time. This also gets worse, instead of better, as the game went on. In fact, every single bad quality this game has, gets worse instead of better.
Even worse, the teasing scenes. You clicked literally over 1000-2000 times to get to the next scene, and one of the girls wants Frank (especially if it is a step daughter), and she wants him and tries initiating sex. Then no, Frank says they should not, Frank is conflicted, Frank ruins it. So then you run into another 2000 or so clicks until the next scene, and that could be a possible other tease scene.
Lilith, as stated by others and agreed by me, is sort of like Frank. She has obvious mental issues and insecurities, but she actually is written properly, as the game goes on she improves and becomes more "normal" and opens up to Frank mentally and physically. A lot more realistic and what should have happened with Frank. But Frank is either conflicted or needs one of the younger girls to tell him how to proceed and what to do. So he looks like a Chad, according to the game, but is far from a Chad (more like a Karen!). Becca is more like how Frank should have been, or both could have been IMO. I am all for doing things different and trying to break the normal, but this was done so poorly, it was not worth doing!
The other huge, glaring issue is with Abigail. She was the most loving one, and we all thought by the end of the game Frank would have at least one scene with her. Nope, you see her every angle, but not one scene! So all that buildup and drum roll...more teasing of a premise that never came to fruition. A lot of people feel she is the one they wanted to see in a scene, and it would make sense from a lot of standpoints. I am included in this, I felt that she was the "Holy Grail" for Frank, and would be the final one added to his harem. Sorry kids, the author had other ideas! Yeah, they can add her later, but I really do not see much point in playing this further myself, because likely it would be the same Frank, same stuff just with Abigail scenes (or knowing the author, one scene) added.
My point? This game, in it's latest form, takes a little over 6.0 GB of space. As stated, over 70% of that dialog is Frank being internally conflicted about literally every single thing in the entire game (likely closer to 80%)! This adds a ridiculous amount of material that could have been removed and filled in with progression, a deeper story, and more scenes, making this one of the top AVN games without doubt. It should have went from red light, yellow light, then green light with Frank. Nope, yellow light with even characters not part of his "ex family" the entire game. It went from slow burn to outright stupid and tedious way before the middle of the story and gets worse instead of better to the end! Then, you STILL do not get with Abigail, the one who we all wanted to see (and would be the most likely to be with for Frank, considering who she is and how she looks!).
Imagine the sheer amount of stuff they could have done with this, without all the useless dialog! As I said, about halfway through the content, I started clicking through every scene because I was bored and annoyed, the story was not progressing, and it was more of the same. Yet I only had to rewind a couple of times for the choice. Even doing this, I missed literally nothing about the story. That speaks volumes in itself.
The other issue I am having, is Frank is like a crazy woman in a man's body, he needs younger girls and women to make his mind up for him. There are plenty of teasing scenes too, which build up and build up, then you get more dialog because Frank was Frank for the 20,000th time!
That has woke undertones I do not like, as I am sick of literally everything woke being shoved into our faces. Kind of like porn games, if I do not want to see boobs, I do not download an adult AVN game. If I wanted woke material, I would seek it out. I do not want it, not interested in it, did not ask for it.
There are much better games in this same genre with similar premise and downloadable here, which are also slow burn but have a much better MC. This gives you more choice, and they have better stories and more satisfying scenes, often with better renders.
This game has so much wasted potential, and no I do not think this is Burger King and I will get to "have it my way", and no I do not think even if CNG read my posts they would change the game. They made this game the way it is for certain reasons, but they made it a frustrating, rather than unique, experience. For all the useless writing included and tired plot points, we could have had about 30 Abigail scenes! At least one would have been nice!
I am sure most would agree this has a great premise, but is let down by repetition and poor execution.
They succeeded in:
Most annoying, effeminate MC that is not gay
Most clicks in a game, ever
Most sought after scene, which teased to be working towards (Abigail), then not having it happen.
