The only thing that puts me off about the MC in this story is his constant moral dilemma nonsense that just simply makes him a guy that would not have this life. He doesn't have independent wealth (the ultimate nerd needs some good looking women trump card). It is not reasonable to accept that such a person would or ever could perpetuate the lifestyle he's now living. Seriously, young lovelies like these would not find themselves drawn to such a guy other than a loving daddy(but he's such a square) or a really nice guy who sold us this apartment (but he's a little odd). If he has any "sex appeal" it is so highly masked by his 'now, now, dear' bs and constant behavior policing like he's everyone's parish pastor. Sure, ok I'll take is as believable that shit would be so sexually attractive to young pretty women with hormones raging. Even more unlikely would be that ALL of them would be tripping over the chance to be with him the way they are.
But as I said in the first line, it's a story. A fiction to boot. Like or don't like what you wish, but I offer no suggestions to the devs of any of these games. I say if you want to be a writer, let's see what you've got. As a reader you've kept my interest this far, so good work. I've read a lot of stories in my lifetime with parts and characters I didn't like. Many of them I still read through. Some of them I still overall liked in spite of the parts or characters I hated. The others that got too bizarre or never got to the point I would quit reading and move on to another story.
My only real fear for this story is it will drag on forever. My biggest hope is that some time soon this story is brought to a climax and equitably concluded. I know that goes against the grain of a lot of players in 'love' with characters or whatever, but IMO this pretty good story has gone on long enough that it's starting to stale a bit. There are always sequels and spinoffs and such but this particular storyline should really be wrapped up before it turns into a soap opera. Characters don't have to disappear with stories ending. They can be written into fresh new storylines.
