TL;DR:
Love almost everything about the game except how the girls choose to get the mc to realize his feelings for them, it's like a reverse corruption game, mc wants them but can't bc it's 'wrong' and they do Anything regardless of his opinions, to get him to see it & all the while he whines about how wrong it is only to go along with it after letting the girls pretty much spit on any authority he was pretending to have.
I don't love femdom & I feel technically there isn't any but the game sends about as strong of femdom vibes as it can without actually having any...if that makes any sense. If you don't love a spineless, whiney mc who let's himself be doormatted proceed with caution !
Otherwise it's genuinely a great game all around & it's only my personal preferences causing me these opinions!
Game is really good, although I'm pretty bothered by....well tbh I can't tell if it's the darker side of all the girls (both Oxton sisters get their way with mc no matter what the subject is, the younger via threats or fear or actual physical violence & the other via lies, manipulation & underhanded methods & sweet 'innocent' Abby uses MC's love for her as a weapon against him) or if it's the MC's lack of anything whatsoever resembling a spine, the worst part is he looks so much worse everytime one of the girls wants something & he pathetically tries to put his foot down while whining about it like a 10 y/o child....then they get whatever they want anyways.
There's no better way to lose all your authority than attempting to be authoritative then rolling over like a wet noodle. I also dislike it when the writing conveys a male character has feelings but no one gives a crap bc men aren't supposed to have feelings / or show them. There were so many points where MC should have be righteously pissed off but he just wet noodled it and we as the player never get the choice to express the character we're playing's (?) feelings!
Everytime Becca lies to mc or he finds out she's been manipulating him And the entire family over and over for years all while not bothering to care what any of the other wanted or how they felt about it, the only 2 logical emotional responses to that would be anger or sadness/dissapointment, why wouldnt we get the choice to at least attempt to actually Be a parental figure ?
The reason I like VN's is bc you get to become vested in these characters and feel a connection to them that more than lust, otherwise I'd just skip to all the sexy scenes or just watch porn, stories are for developing emotional attachments.
I'm not against the girls' goalbut I don't love the methods the girls are using most of the time, meaning I, personally, feel tho the girls all love him it feels like they be like 'were gonna make you realize you love and want us by any means possible, we don't care about the means used only the end result'
This is just my personal opinion but it's like they can't be bothered with using love and patience and outsmart the MC in a way that doesn't partially emasculate him almost Everytime....
Anyhow none of this make me not want to finish the game I just don't love how it's done, hell I had to skip the Becca sex scene bc I AM vested in the characters and I just can't let her off the hook, ik she said she didn't want to force the mc to be there but I do feel like all the info we have so far has shown her next step would be blackmailing the mc for what she wants if he chose to walk out, she planned this for HALF a decade and what? She just gonna give up her plans ...just like that?

I certainly agree with the point about manipulation on Becca's part, but I have to express consideration:
Lilly didn't have a high opinion of Frank to begin with, due to her abandonment fears and what his presence meant (that her father Trevor probably won't be coming back). At the beginning of her subplot, when she thinks about the upcoming separation of Frank and Shannon, thus Abby moving out, she thinks to herself why Frank doesn't move out and Abby stays. This will most likely not have been a serious thought, but reflects her character trait at that time to tend to wishful dreams.
Also, Becca's manipulation of Lilly was necessary for her to finally realize that Frank is not such a bad guy. Remember, after Lilly caught her boyfriend cheating, she obviously wanted to go to Abby, but I think Becca put it well: If she really wanted to, she could have called Abby and she would have dropped everything. Instead, she only found Frank, and did something that the old Lilly would never have done: she stayed with him and let him calm her down. So Becca planted the seed of realization in Lilly that Frank may not be the father she always missed, but he was the one she always needed and was always there for her. And somewhere I think it was necessary, because otherwise the chances would have been pretty high that she would have gone a similar way as her mother and would have eventually become an almost 40 year old shrew who obviously doesn't have much love for her children. Also, the fact that it came out in advance that Abby is not his daughter either might have helped, because if he loves Abby like his own flesh and blood and would move heaven and hell for her, why should he do less for her and Becca?

I believe this was the thing that convinced her. She was so fixed on the concept "blood relation equals love" that in her mind she was the worst if even people that were supposed to love her by default did not. And the relationship that Abby had with Frank since the begging (since she believed they were related) only solidified her point of view. So when she learned that Abby is not his biological daughter it put their (Abby's and Frank's) relationship in a whole new light for her. Notice that right after she learned she hugged Frank and called him "dad" for the first time. This was the beginning.

I actually agree with your assements, also agree on Lilly needing 'help' realizing frank was not only bad but had been good to her regardless of her treatment of him. Mostly I'm speaking about Becca's manipulation of frank *after* he's agreed to be on board, there's still things she's not telling him, hell I even understand it, if she'd told him after the 1st time he agreed that she wanted them all to be his wives he'd have had an aneurysm but at the point I'm at in game (frank had already boned Lilly and had just followed suit with Becca & he didn't freak out at all) she could have told him All of her plans & even if he didn't agree fully I feel he'd have went along anyway....he's all in now, he even started considering the Abby situation in the short time from his arriving at the hotel to his leaving...major progress!!! I feel it's hard to trust her when everytime she's lied she said she would stop then did it again, my gut tells me somehow there's more she's hiding even tho I feel like 'what other bombs can she possibly drop?'
But all this is only bc I DO enjoy the game overall quite a lot, if I truly don't like a game I drop it, I'm FAR too lazy to type or even voice dictate this much for something I don't really like. The writing is decent even tho there are points I don't love & ima go ahead and get back to it.

It happens in other games too, it is a bug in Renpy. To stop it, find a spot with dialog on the screen, but no picture, and save the game. Close the game and start from that save, and the image should stop. The bug can reappear, so you will have to do the same thing again when it happens. The save/restart works for me on Windows, I don't know about android.

I'm at the part where Frank is on his "trip" and Becca and Lilly are talking about moving out when Shannon isn't home...if Shannon comes home early (or suspects something), what's keeping Shannon from following them?

- That's not the way to move out of your parents (or in this case parent's) house..even though she's a b****, she deserves to know
- They are 18 and older so by law, an adult...an adult don't move out sneakly
- They shouldn't be afraid to stand up to Shannon and they should convince her that they are adults and want to move out (doing it this way shows Shannon that they aren't acting mature enough and that they fear Shannon which she likes
- If all else fails, Lilly and Becca should go to the Judge and apply for a divorce from their mom and have police officers with them as they move their stuff out (this should be a last resort)
I think the big thing that she is hiding is that she had a DNA test done on her and Trevor and found she is not the Fruit fo Trevor's looms. And knowing that her mom is a slut and dated and dumped Frank when she moved then gave birth about 8-9 months later to Becca...well it may well be that Becca is Franks real daughter.
I think they are doping it this way be3cause they believe that it will hurt their mom more because she wont get to belittle them for it. She isnt a mom she is a total shit. And a painful stinky one that you have to shower to get off yourr ass

Have you ever known someone who causes such a big drama scene when they don't get their way? There are small people out there that will do anything they can to lower your happiness, it fuels these people to do this....it doesn't matter to Becca or Lilly if they legally have the right to move out....they're over age shannunt couldn't do anything legally but she could make all 4 of their lives a living hell, better to just ghost her ass, imho her drama Wouldn't be worth it

Indeed. I was the one who posted it earlier (two pages back), and I actually had to go back to double-check if it was the exact same one, or if there was a new update to the estimated release date I hadn't caught.
It may change again, this was only the second delay, there's been 3 the last few updates, but fingers crossed it doesn't get delayed again
