i've never been a fan of dev's doing multiple projects at the same time.
i can understand having to work on the same things while your creativity kinda wants to take a other turn at some moments.
that would probably not be good things for artists.
but i've never really seen it work well, and only sometimes it in a doable state , CNG right now is barely in the doable state with his bite sized spin-off's IMO.

best way to say how i view it is with a old saying : "the hunter who chases two rabbits losses both"

While your point is certainly valid, this is more of a "the hunter who chases his adopted daughter loses his income" situation. So its not like CNG has much of a choice other than work on both games or abandon the one guaranteed to eventually lose him his income, which is Single Again.

well he actually does have a choice. its just stay with the stability off his current work or risk going with a new things which could be worse but also better.
personally i'd say focus on the current project while putting in a little work for the 2nd like writing so when he finishes this he can just go on to the 2nd project.(that seemed to work for caribdis)
still CNG's choice he won't be able to please everyone regardless of which one he picks

You realize his account got taken down by Patreon because the incest right? Last time I had checked, it had been reinstated, but Patreon could take it down permanently at any time. That means over a thousand dollars a month just gone, poof. Most authors can't survive a sudden loss of that much income. It also means CNG can't just move wholesale to subscribestar because a lot of people can't use it, hence again the loss of a thousand+ dollars.

Hence making a non-incest game for patreon so that he can continue to receive the money he requires to make Single Again. It's a shitty outcome, but the other is stop Single Again completely and only focus on a Patreon-safe game. And since, I assume, a decent amount of his fans are incest fans, they may not stick around for just a non-incest game anyway.

A little side anecdote: I once checked the meaning of the name Abby, and in my mother tongue it came out as “Abigail can be translated as ‘my father rejoices’ or ‘my father is joy’”.

I have to say, apart from Meiko, who I am unsure about, I find the names very fitting and wonder whether CNG chose these names deliberately. If so, then well done.

Other anecdote: Frank says that if Abby had been a boy, Jess would have named her Draven because of a movie she liked. I looked it up. The movie that comes to mind would be The Crow (1994 makes the most sense) and the character in question would be Eric Draven, originally played by Brandon Lee.

While we're on the subject of names:

Lilly (not Lilith) means/stands for "pure", "rebirth", and "passion"--which, paired with what you found, totally fits her dual nature, imho.

As for Rebecca, her name comes from an Hebrew verb that means "to tie", "to bind" or "to snare"--once again, spot on, as she basically does all three.

As for Abigail, funnily enough, this was used as a common name in old English, and it meant "a lady's maid"--so I'm totally not going to comment on her relationship with Lilly, as our little firebrand certainly doesn't fit the "lady" mold (if anything, Becca would be the lady in the harem, with Meiko being her maid).

Finally, one of the many possible meanings of Meiko is "niece", so it looks like her place in the family isn't usurped--Patreon's not gonna like it, though.

Unless you set your "search preferences to most recent" you will get all the spam from people saying c-o-m-p-r-e-s-s-e-d 100 times and have to dig through 1.2 million spam posts of people not searching.

It's better to search compressed win (I don't use PC I use win/linux), compressed mac, compressed version number, compressed pc, it will filter out so much spam doing it that way.

- 1.24.3: probably the update when Mei loses her virginity and fully joins the DPG club.

So it's a bit of a shame that this one will likely be pushed back to 2025 because of the Patreon-friendly new game, as I wouldn't be surprised if the Oxton sisters had a kind of ceremony planned (at least, I'm pretty sure Becca has) for when Mei joins the club, so this should be good.
