all are over 18 and there are many games where girls look even younger (even too young but dev has said all are over 18 so F95 has accepted it even girls are more like kids).

It was things like this that made the lawmakers (at least in the UK) have a total breakdown of common sense and make laws that are dependent on what "a reasonable person" would think. That was the day the UK became the worlds laughing stock. We now have laws based on ridiculous notions like "is or appears to be" older than 18. Who the hell can determine if someone "appears to be" 18? It's this sort of idiocy that resulted in young looking models being plastered with tattoos to "prove" their age, and in the UK that porn age restriction includes line drawings, incredibly.
They say the law is an ass (that's a donkey btw!) for good reason.

Not just the UK...don't tear our country down needlessly, we are not the only country with such laws. The US and Australia also have them to name just two.

It actually is important for the story that they are adults and not schoolkids of a curious age, since them being independent and thus able to live on their own away from Shannon is integral.

Well, you found a bug. One of a few/many with the MCs name. Didn't look into the code, but I know that Single Again isn't always consistent with the naming. You would need to inform the dev about it, if you want to have chance that this will change in the future.

There's no point in informing the dev, you should inform the modder. The game is designed for the name not to be changed, so that's a mod error, not a game error.

You can rename the MC without a patch and the implementation is lousy, so I say that goes to the dev. I didn't care that much even too some Francis are still there even after I renamed it.
Yet, he should ideally learn and use how the handle the names via variables instead of plain text even if he might not need it here.

Okay, I admit forgetting he put that in at some point, although even in the implementation he's pretty unenthusiastic about it, making me think it was more of an unwilling concession than desire on his part. But you're right otherwise, since he implemented it, it could have been more player-friendly.
