It really wasn't. Far too much fan-service cameo's in VN's making them all in a 'connected' unverse. Seeing them here is what got me to try the VN. Sadly, Sancho disappeared so I've been putting off playing the final episode since I'd been using his mod. I don't want to do a full replay, which would probably be required with a different mod, even with the mod saver - already did that after the Dev was an asshole and switched RenPy versions 75% of the way through. Unless the new guy is using Sancho's actual mod and bringing it up to the final version, it just wouldn't be worth the likely hassle.
I did Eternum, where Scrappy picked up the mod. I was able to play from my last save. I don't remember who is doing CS though.
Never used Sancho for that VN - don't need that much extra crap when Lightman gives a decent enough guide. I would only use Sancho when there where things like achievements or hidden objects since I rarely used any of his cheats and hated that he changed the hot keys because he liked them better that way. I just usually want a simple walk through that shows what tends to be "cannon" so that I can decide whether I want to make a different save or two at a particular point, and that will allow me to unlock a gallery if I'm having trouble getting a scene - seeing it will often help me figure out where I needed to make a different decision to get to that particular place.
