I may be wrong, but I don't think that CNG gave anything away yet regarding the new game. I guess we'll just have to wait and see (nothing even remotely looking like possible family or step-family relations seems a given, though, so as not to risk any ban from Patreon).

While I do like stepcest aspect the most important element for me is the age gap. I like those romances. Both older guy/ young girl and older woman/ younger guy.
That's actually in favor of being the bio dad/nailing Abby. He needs a project that he can put on Patreon while he takes SA off so he can finish the story that would violate their terms.

From a "marketing" standpoint its stupid to make any incest cannon,its better to not do it and keep SA on patreon while making the 2nd project , as they will advertise each other that way.
the way to introduce incest into SA is a "3rd party" patch and skirt around the TOS like most other avn's (as the dev would legally not be responsible that way)
i'm honestly surprised no big incest fan has bothered a modder to make a patch yet,although it will make the story seem inconsistent/incoherent at some points it wouldn't be the 1st avn to get like that.

Not really. A lot of people specifically support games for that exact content. Creating content that appeals to a large number of supporters isn't stupid. Look up that the most searched porn titles are. Guess what is at the tippy top. Then guess what sort of tag and content attract backers for AV games. "Marketing" would suggest every game should have that tag for SEO.
Creators still get kicked off of Patreon for "3rd party" incest patches. The community managers at Patreon aren't stupid, they know that the devs specifically code their games to allow for patching and/or create the patches themselves, and have kicked many, many creators off for it. You don't seem super knowledgeable about the history of Patreon and incest banning.

TLDR:
Incest based VN's isn't something i proactively follow so i indeed have little knowlage on its history.
patreon banning Dev's that have a 3rd party incest patch isn't something i've seen yet
using F95 as a refference for "best" tag to be a popluar/succesfull AVN isn't "incest".
top 10 vn's based on top Likes(a like on the OP)
it has a 1/10 hit rate as a incest focus , 4/10 as side content/3rd party patches
top 10 based on Reviews (weighted rating)
its 2/10 have incest ,1 is player based typing your preference the other is 3rd party based
although incest is indeed present in the top VN's ,its mostly optional(3rd party) and/or side content.
Conclusion:
Making SA into a incest cannon focused game likely won't change much if anything at all for its succes/popularity ,so doing that would still be a unwise move to get the" A lot of people specifically support games for that exact content." to support whilst dropping if off Patreon and missing exposure from it.
3rd party patch if stil the way to go about it IMO.

Even if 99.99% of the devs does this, that means little for this game.
Marketing makes bad games. Otherwise for big audience and SEO it would be good to have as many tags as possible.
It is also a known strategy to identify a sweet spot and target that one instead of targeting what all other already targeting and compete with all them.
Short: What this dev do and don't do we will see. In the moment it looks like that Abby won't get Frank and that Becca isn't confirm (and neither denied) to be his (biological) daughter.

yeah the Incest hype off 2020 is over, i've seen a few discussions about patreon becoming stricter on incest content etc. but again its not something that really interests me so not spending tons brain storage for stuff related to it.
I never claimed it made a good game. Iwas refuting the marketing claim made by the person i replied to.
In the moment Abby proposed being impregnated by Frank, so it is definitely on the table. The entire last update was their discussion about how even if she was joking about it, she was seriously thinking about it. There's a chance she intends IVF, but considering it's a porn game it's much more likely the ole' fashioned way.
Neither trolling nor fanboying. Just citing some history of the genre and general AVN practices.

With all due respect, not the first time you've repeated this pointless phrase. If there's news,. it will be posted here, so why do people persist in constantly posting Update News, Wen Update, Hero..blah wah wah...news will be here when it's here.
That aside, it's even more pointless when very soon this is unfortunately going to become a one update per year title (when you consider he working on another title and doing the short stories)....really not worth worrying about...check the thread, no news, move on with your life until there is.
