Today the creator made a post on Ci-en about the censored game that will be released on Steam and about Haanja's ASMR...
Some notes:
- They intend to release the censored version in the Japanese spring (between March and May).
- When Lelia is hit, in the censored version, her breasts will not be shown, only her clothes will be damaged.
- When Lelia is defeated and a rape, decapitation, or death scene is about to occur, the screen will go completely black and it will be game over. Some sounds may be heard and the caption "No one has seen Lelia since then" will appear, "leaving the player to imagine what happened" In the creator's words (those who play the adult version know).
- Shared some fan art that fans of the game had made on social media, expressing his gratitude.
- Apparently, there will be an English ASMR of Haanja, or subtitles that are marked at the exact moment Haanja is speaking.
Overall, they intend to bring more updates to the game in adult version, but for now, the focus is on the censored version, so it may take longer for new enemies, scenes, and a deeper story in the adult version. What are your opinions?

You can download the uncen mod to play, but I'm not sure about the black screen issue.
ITS MY OPINION BUT ISNT IT MORE PROFITABLE TO DO MORE CONTENT PAID DLC THAN SFW ON STEAM. I MEAN WHO WILL PLAY THAT, THE CHILDREN? I DONT THINK SO. A GAME KNOWN FOR ITS R18 SCENE/ART AND THE GAMEPLAY LITERALLY SO BASIC ITS LITERALLY THERE FOR ONLY IMMERSION. (IM NOT MAD AND SORRY FOR CAPS MY KEYBOARD WONT CHANGE TO SMALL CAPS XDD)
Imho, sinistar2 might do well as a SFW game. The problem is that the game is fairly short and combat is basic. The aesthetic, atmosphere and graphics is what carries the game but not enough compared to other games.
As a NSFW game tho, this game is a shining gem and I need moar.

I'll just be patient. The game delivered its base promises and is really high quality. Nothing personally comes close in terms of dark fantasy / guro genre.
It makes sense they want to get it on steam. A lot of potential revenue + exposure to western markets. Honestly, if I wasn't on F95zone, I wouldn't know 99% of these Japanese games. People on steam will be able to support the dev by:
- buying on steam, then pirating uncensored
- buying on steam, applying the nsfw patch
- seeing it on steam, then buying it directly on dlsite
Only critique is that if they always intended to make a sfw version, they should have planned the development around it. In the dev blogs, it sounds like a lot of manual work is needed to go back and censor stuff. I'm not developer or artist, but I would assume it would have been more effective to do both sfw + nsfw versions of art/animations at once, that way they'll know immediately if the current nsfw design will be difficult to make sfw and vice versa. Also less mental overhead of having to go back to an old scene and be like how did I do this again?

I don't know, it doesn't really matter to me. I'm a bit desperate for games right now, but I can wait.
I want to keep my expectations up for the DLC(s), new endings, with their respective mission paths.
We already talked about this when the game came out, maybe a quest chain where you play as Leila brainwashed, corrupted, or turned into a monster.
Maybe I'm expecting too much, and I should lower my expectations, but... what if...

where I can get the underground waterway for gallery, I dont know where to go so that I have my complete gallery ?

Might as well expand to a western market if all you have to do is deliver a censored version. SiNiSistar also doesn't have much dialogue compared to, say, RPGMs that get localized. It's an easy cashgrab. I suspect the development of this game did take into account the possibility of selling on steam, which they did for the other game much later after release. Compared to the previous game, the onscreen gore in the game is more restricted to game over screens and overworld NPCs. Last game would have the heroine parasitized, slaughtered, drowned, and melted right in front of you. No transition to game over screens.
EDIT: I don't think making both a sfw and nsfw version of events is realistic either. Last game the developers made an alternate costume for the heroine, and they ended up having to reskin all the events and made slight pose adjustments in some. If they end up doing an alternate costume, which I wouldn't doubt, they would end up having to do two versions - sfw and nsfw - for each costume. That would mean four variations in total. It's a lot of work for an overseas audience that isn't your main source of moola.

this is only worth the effort under assumption that you will go global at some point, and i doubt multiple developer had that in mind in the long run, mainly because they would be more busy doing the core of their project: making porn game, and not normal sfw game.
most hentai game developer that go global always get offer by overseas publisher and only when their games doing well, and barely launch by themselves, those who did failed spectacularly either because not knowing the rule or trick for global market, or being a hard blockhead who refuse to bend down to play the global audience preferred which result in disasterous localization.
i do know that very, really few, number of game that both release porn and sfw version on their game in DLsite, but that's on them for thinking the all-ages version will even going to worth the effort by doing it that way. the reason they do sfw version of their game is not even for making it for the sake of sfw, but for censorship, or rather covering it with blanket until we the user remove it using official patch outside the store (Steam).
lastly, localization work in this game is as short and easy as replacing the graphic only, because english has already been there since launch, localization team only need to do some quick proofreading.
by the way, people keep coping for DLC in this game, while at the same time describing what would be classify as a whole damn expansion pack. new ending? new scenario? whole new mechanic? those aren't DLC. Dev might as well make Sinisistar 3 with all those idea. if you want DLC then we already got it for free, the spider stage and the hag, but that's it. i personally rather see dev moving on to next project rather than milking this game for more. It's not that i don't want to see those idea realized, but i rather be more realistic about this.
I left a comment on their last post on Ci-en, and the creator replied:
"There will be no new releases next year, but we will continue publishing and updating the software, so I believe we will be able to show some results."
So apparently the adult version will not receive very updates throughout the entire year of 2026, only the censored Steam version.
And guys, since he's replying to everyone in the last post, take the opportunity to comment something you're interested in; maybe he'll respond.

He means no new releases as in new games like a Sinisistar 3, not that he won't be updating and adding new content to Sinisistar 2.
I just hope they give the game a true ending; since the first one, they've had a habit of leaving the ending open so we can imagine what happened.
