this release turned SS into a high quality story and VN. but i still woulda preferred to see new years daye updated. chelsea needs lots of love and cuddles after all

The game is good so far but I fell like the daughter gets jealous too much. She should let the MC fall in love with whomever h wants as long as he never forgets about her. The MC is always hanging out with fine looking females, let him have all the fun he wants.

Willow already snuck a nugget of wisdom in that regard in the last update. Also, teenage girls are crazy, it fits she would be all over the place with emotions for her first love interest ever. She's a giant ball of hormones and emotions right now. Eventually we'll segue into Pokemon where the MC is sticking his pork sword in several others and probably sharing with Charlie.

And if anything I would imagine it would be the kind of experience they would not regret...but it would reinforce to both of them that they don't want to be with anyone else.

I'm a big fan of harem games, but so far this story has been about a guy who has been faithful to the idealized memory of his wife in the past until now, only to maybe find the real thing (the part of Rachel he loved + a more compatible personality with a love of the road lifestlyle) in Charlie. So suddenly changing his personality from faithful-to-a-flawed-relationship (when he was on his own and could have done anything he wanted to) to unfaithful-to-a-much-better-relationship (when she is glued to his leg) would seem like a very hard and unbelieveable pivot IMVHO.

Depends on how long this game will go. He could just keep it simple with the relationship with Charlie and Bobby. Then pick up the story a few years later as a means to start a new chapter where it becomes a harem. The subtle hints are already there though with Charlie being bi-curious. She got pretty worked up watching the twins go at it in the shower together. The kiss with Willow which she's questioned herself. Willow's talk with her about letting the Bobby be free and her to not be so possessive.

I still think Willow could be his kid. That she could end up a bigger character in the series going forward.

I will say though that "start over from start" on update should be a rare occurrence in a Kinetic Novel, since there won't be a lot of decisions and branching paths to keep track of (or forget to do right). But it can still happen. And it's not *that* hard to set it to skip already seen scenes, and just hold in Ctrl for 5 minutes while I do something else

I don't think it'd be hard to segue this into a harem story. Once a man learns everything he believed for close to two decades was basically a lie and that he was being used (and abused) by the woman he idolized, the reaction could believably swing any way a good writer wants it to go. Whether it's a good idea to go that way is another matter.

While I don't see our MC as sticking his sword in everything that moves or building a harem (since a harem implies some sort of emotional equality between the members), I could see it go a bit wider than the Twins sexually. To me it sounds pretty believable that at the core it'd stay him and Charlie, but that she'd get curious enough at Willow's "free love" approach to allow (or even encourage) that as long as the emotional attachment stayed with her and others were just friends with benefits, that she approved of (and possibly want herself). Or it could stay him and Charlie exclusively. Depends on what story Jonesy wants to tell, I guess.

True but it makes a lot of sense for a story about a singer who's on the road a lot. Could add some juicy drama though for Charlie and Bobby to deal with and it cements Willow as a bigger character. One that can end up being the glue between all of them. Especially if this goes the route of a harem story. If she was his daughter, seeing him and Charlie together knowing who he is could certainly give her some internal conflict as well.

I do know it feels that way or at least feels like a set up for one. It's one of the
major convos I constantly have with Jonesy. When you keep introducing female
characters and there is only one male character it send that message by default.
I believe it's one of the reasons Bobby sets things straight about Willow to Charlie.
He's going through some stuff. They both are. Siren Song is a much deeper, more
personal story than NYDe. Which is good I hate the term subverting expectations
but it's something I tend to do and that's kind of the point here as well.
Some things just aren't black and white or absolute. Misunderstandings happen.
Jealousy happens. Any way, I hope everyone is having an amazing Holiday <3

Can't help for wishful thinking. I really like Willow's character model and she's a sweet, endearing character like Chelshea in NYD. Also, Meegan and Tara having the same model as Kaylee you can't help but not want to see it. Cheers, Happy Holidays.

I love to see all the speculation! Siren Song has really taken me in a different direction from when I first started writing it. And while I do admit, I love a good harem story, and while I would really like to see this story take that turn, I also really like the way Bobby and Charlotte's relationship is building. They love each other so much that I don't know if "harem" is exactly the right direction to take now. I can't decide from one day to the next what this story will do, so I'm leaving it up to Bobby and Charlotte to decide for me. Maybe they'll decide their love is strong enough to accept more people into the relationship, maybe they decide that they are the only people each other needs. Maybe they'll experiment and find out through trial and error. Who knows? This way is more fun for me, and it keeps it a surprise for everyone...including me!

Jonesy is one of the few game developes who really understands how to write a story. Love it. He gots me everytime with a new story. He brings it on slowly, that's quality! For Siren song you could get into a harem path if Charlotte is developping lesbian feelings for the twins and is able to share Bobby with them. could be interesting to see that path...

Not bad news at all. Both roads sounds like amazing stories to me. I'll just enjoy the one we get.

Totally appreciate that this game can be tried for free from the dev's site, but the pacing seems really really fast, the girl goes from "I really don't want anything to do with the MC" to "oh please fuck me now" within like three game days. Suspension of disbelief is required I suppose. Dev seems to like just barely of age, very small breasted love interests, seems to be an overall theme of the trio of games available. Will give props for the good writing, well composed, and the renders are quite good.
