I think I've seen you comment on it before, glad to see you're still interested in it ^^ If you've forgotten the story, you can just start over - that's a slight benefit of my snail-pace release speed.
Oh yeah, I've been keeping an eye on it since the first release.
Reallly liked it since, and I'm always glad to see it updated. Well made passion projects are always worth waiting for.
I liked it a lot! I didn't expect to like it very much, but I finished the game already. I don't think I ever read that many words in a row I love the sister, she's so cute. I hope you keep writing about her more, I don't like the other girl as much.
I'll leave a review too since you asked.
The game is awesome! I am a reader myself and have played plenty text-based games myself, the only complaint I have would be that the game now is way too short. Story wise, I like the idea of having the other girl around to interact with even if I were to choose the sister instead. Having the final decision on day 6 (or is it just a placeholder?) seems like a bad idea tho unless you are planning on something else. It would make the story more interesting to have a bit more struggle in between imo. keep up the good work!
It's not the final choice. It adds a "point" to the Sarah path, and a certain amount of points will be needed to have the option to enter the actual path that leads to an ending. Since the prologue is over, time will be going a bit faster with days being skipped and only certain selected scenes being shown, so the conflict is not over yet. Thanks for the feedback!
I just randomly found this and was a bit confused about the different titles, but then decided to look here. I haven't played it yet, but the fact you support modders is much appreciated. We need more people like you.
I'm really happy you liked the game this much, consider leaving a review if you want—I rely on the reviews to convince people to give the game a shot. A lot of people don't like text-only games, and having a high average score makes them try it despite their dislike. Of course, not everyone is going to like it in the end but some of them will.
Text games are the best. No 3d/2d picture can beat our imagination, if the writer is good enough.
And you are, your only problem from what I can see is the really long time it takes to add content .. but maybe you can solve that, idk
So, after readin' up on a few posts lately, i have to give you my two cents on this. Prepare
On the one side, i can understand people getting angry when seeing stuff they like not getting updated for months, years .. (milfy city, cough) especially nowadays, where every other patreon is just a money-farm, not caring the slightest about the customer or the product but just for the money and the money alone.
On the other hand tho? This man earns 19$ a month right mow. 19$. Bro, i tip my waitresses more than this.
You think this sounds like a farm? Farms come from greedy people that never achieved something worth mentioning in life now being corrupted by earning a lot of money .. In exchange for nothing but a few stale lines and lies.
I may be wrong .. I mostly am, but this man seems not greedy at all. His style of writing doesn't fit the mind of a greedy person nor does a romance fit that image, nor does his.. Very slow progress fit that criteria of someone trying to open a farm, because they start strong, write a lot about top-tier fetishes and as soon as they have them booked, they grow absent.
There are tons of Youtube-channels with people showing you about their hobby and whatnot and a lot of them grow silent due to having a life, surprising, ain't it? Having a life outside of making content for other, random, completely unknown people on the internet? Nobody sheds a tear about said channels. This is what happens to most of them, anyway.
Here, this is taken directly from his patreon, does that sound cheeky or greedy to you?
Bro, i107760, this following line's for you, and you alone.
I know life can be.. Problematic at times, believe me, i really do. But getting all gloom and chum, especially after losing someone close tends to make it worse. By a lot, actually. Invest your time in things that make you happy, things that make you feel alive, things that make you cum, things that make you forget the pain and make you yearn to feel love and appreciation again. Yeah, i'm talking about a woman, mostly. Get yourself one. I recently checked, fair enough, and they seem to be running around .. outside. Not sure why they do and where they came from, but that checks out. We are men, after all and we tend to get lonely and, yeah, hurt, without having one at our side, helping us through hard decissions and paths leading downhill through our lives. Sounds easy, right? Because it is, friendship and love, that doesn't come from your purse, nor from you possessions, it comes from the heart and from two souls being alike. Never forget that, never let others tell you otherwise.
I like to imagine theres one patreon moderator out there who has to keep an eye on this project, and just keeps thinking; "how dumb ass hell is this 18yo girl?"
but god damn, sister really is just encouraging the boy to be, as the libertarians call it, a hebephile
I just can't get over the absurd amount of detail you go into with the cooking. Do we need to know every single ingredient that goes into the food? Is this at all important to the plot? I can't think of a single book, besides a cook book, that goes into this much detail about the food. Literally 5 paragraphs about cooking fucking spaghetti... It's really kind of tedious.

so you've never read ASOIAF or LOTR (or just about any of bongland's innumerable high fantasy series)?
not too uncommon for different kinds of character driven romance stories either, where cooking (and eating) can be seen as intimate, or useful for various smarmy writing tricks.
some find it immersive. others, like you, not so much

I am not saying food should not be mentioned in a story. I'm saying it doesn't need to be overly examined when it's not important to the plot. Saying what a character is eating is great, it helps build a better picture of the world the author has created but taking 5 paragraphs to painstakingly explain every step the character takes in making dinner is tedious and just feels like the author is trying to up his word count. I haven't read ASOIAF, I don't start a series until its complete since I hate waiting for the next book. It has been years since I read LOTR but I don't remember any tedious explanation of food in it? I'd love for you to give me an example of an overly tedious explanation of food from either of these series. I've tried googling it but didn't come up with anything.

I encourage you to skip over it if you find it tedious - it is not simply useless filler in my opinion, though. I add it to control the pacing of the story as well as to have a section where I can have the protagonist have the chance to freely think about some unrelated subject. And personally, I enjoy cooking and eating, and also enjoy writing about it.
I think I answered a similar question in the past, possibly in more detail. You might be able to find it through searching for "food" or similar in this thread.
What benefit do I get from upping my word count? I don't track word count, I don't use it to advertise. If anything, upping my word count for filler that is useless just means having to edit more content, costing me time bringing zero benefit.
Some people will find it interesting to read, others can just skip it. It's pretty easy to just skim over if you don't like it. Unrelated to that, I just posted the next diary scene to my

i get your point.
ASOIAF has some sections during one or an other feast where GRRM must have been really hungry while writing.
can't recall any lengthy mention of cooking, though it's been over a decade since i've read any of it (but i think that still means i'm caught up with the latest book)
if you're going to wait with starting 'til the series is finished.. i don't know what to say. considering the decelerating rate of writing/publishing i have serious doubts about him living long enough to complete it.
as far as LOTR goes, counting Bilbo/The Hobbit, there are a couple long winded segments about food.
iirc about both the preparation and consumption.
maybe there wasn't much in the main trilogy.. i should look that up. and maybe re-read the whole series while i'm at it.
unfortunately i'm really bad at looking things up on search engines.
might get back to you anyways if i do find some concrete examples
Great game... writing this much i'm sure is time consuming but i really hope you continue the story soon! Honestly really good writing and story development.
I find the food sections to be enlightening to the care the MC takes in taking care of his sister, when shes out of frame he pours a lot of soul and effort in to not only cooking for her but going above and beyond what is normally expected for a meal prepped by a young person. It shows a lot of dedication that he even learned that skill set to take care of his sister.
Ahh, man, the story cut off right when things were really starting to amp up. I tip my hat to you sir, one author to another, for being able to make me eagerly anticipate the next chapter of a story I'm reading. It's not even really for the porn anymore; I'm legitimately invested now.

Heh, as I said, some people gonna like it, others not so much. Thanks for dropping by to confirm my words <3 And yes, that's a part of the characterization I was talking about.

Happy to hear you're enjoying the story and got immersed in it. I tried very hard to create an engaging world and characters that surround the eroticism.
