Wait until you see the last levels. Literally nothing except death rays, traps and instakill falls that abuse how excessively bouncy and irresponsive the game is. There are some levels with literally 0 girls, all traps.
Awful.

Hard agree that the last level sucks SO FUCKING BAD. Even on Easy Mode where every girl gets taken down by a single attack, I Game Over-ed (as in losing all three lives) to the tune of some odd 10 - 20 times at least.
In the end my winning strategy was (still on easy mode) charging up a shot after every single jump to take out the bombers as I moved forward a singular platform at a time, then jumping on top of the girls with rifles to do the quick-fall aerial kick. Even then, I still needed a hefty dose of luck to not get suddenly fucked up the ass by the rotating sparks a few platforms have.

Just finished playing, animations have improved do far, the gameplay stays the same, also some characters models have been reused pretty much also i get you might want a challenging game but holy shit stage 6 made me ragequit, like can i just get the h scenes thank you

So as it appears it is in fact not in English.
I doubt that I, or many other people, really care enough to translate it all. And if you're just talking about the "unlock the whole gallery" cheat code all the way at the bottom, that's ignoring the people who actually want to do the thing the game was designed for and play it.

Not to mention, you CANNOT tell me that the final stage of the game isn't just objectively poorly designed. Like seriously. I can excuse all the other levels, but I can't excuse that one.

So this type of game is Megaman style, charge the attack and let go. I'll give you some tips:

1 - You can release the charged power and see the enemy on the screen, if you hit it you will hear the sound of the enemy falling, if not it is because there is no enemy there

2 - The enemy that drops the heart in the air, if you don't get too close to him (he doesn't appear on the screen), you can jump and use the charged attack.

3 - All Enemies are in the same position, so remember where they are

4 - When you are on a cliff, don't jump, fall normally, as you can jump once, and then again.

But I believe that the Developer will make an update and improve this difficulty.

I particularly had difficulty in the last stage, but doing the tip of falling and jumping twice afterwards helped a lot.

I agree with you, the cat boss and the final boss are not well made. Hell I used some cheats to get through those bosses

Easy mode kills every boss in a single hit, to save others that effort.

I can't remember if this was the fix or not, but I think you need the Japanese Local Emulator? I've had it for years, so I think that was the fix.

same, just keeps crashing after a black screen pops up shortly. same issue to running the prequel
