Welp it looks like two years of interest of this game is now down the drain. Hope the dev goes back to actual artwork instead of using AI slop

I know dev must have read it a 1000 times, but i liked the old art, it had charm, BUT i played (Had to replay from beginning) it regardless and it was still a banger story, these two fags are cute as hell. And hoping nothing bad happens with the pilot recruits t.t
Now that I've seen the newest art, I can say I'm a bit disappointed.
On the plus side, Dax's facial expressions are adorable.
On the negative side, even though I understand why Dax has been made so muscular, I'm not a fan of it.
In addition I miss the animations for the blowjob and sex scenes. Hopefully those will be remade, in the newest style, in the future.
Still, I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

I don't understand the complaints, the new art is objectively much better and more immersive than the previous one, and even with the muscles Dax looks more feminine now
I hope the admin doesn’t punish me or anything, but the new art might appeal to some, while I preferred the old one. It may not have been as detailed, but Dex looked amazing in that outfit—it really suited him, and I loved seeing him like that. I know he’s just a game character, but he really caught my eye. Now, though, he looks a bit strange to me, like he has muscles in a weird place (sorry for saying it like that, but that’s how I see it). Anyway, I’ll have to get used to the new Dex. I do appreciate the new game update, though!

After actually trying the game after the update I actually ended up liking the new design for Dax. I played the game a while ago with the original art and enjoyed it even if the art wasn't the best. I was expecting more of the same art or slightly improved so to see it not only all redone with ai but to have the character much more muscular was shocking. In general I also don't really usually get off to characters with this much muscle. But surprisingly there was enough softness to the character that I thought they were still attractive despite the much more defined and detailed muscle. I think their face and ass (which is thankfully still big) does help a lot with seeing the softness in the rest of them and I liked the expressions on Dax. Being reminded he's a trained warrior who's much stronger than humans and basically a manlet also helped in accepting how he looks now with all the muscle. The story and build up is also still there which is what I had liked a lot about the game when I played it before with the old art.
I would have liked for the dev of this game to have improved their own art but I understand from seeing other games it can become complicated. It can be hard getting or keeping the motivation to draw and then draw well, and even if you have the money to hire an artist they can also be unreliable or change their minds. To compensate for the lack of people helping or resources I think it makes sense and could possibly help with making updates sooner. I just hope that going forward they can at least keep the ai art consistent enough, they can keep the dialogue easy to read and can keep telling a good story.

The art with AI turned out good and you can see it in the current reviews. Everyone gives it 5 stars. Keep it up and finish the game. You have a talent for telling stories.

But I totally understand the developer's desire to make their game look better and be better for new audiences.
Besides, Dax's expressiveness is much better and makes him seem more alive.

Dax is a pilot and warrior, in my opinion the body is natural, What seems unnatural to me is how the bulge is marked, yes it's naughty but not at all practical and normal.
For the animation of some scenes everything will depend on whether the program used for the design allows it.

I want better art. AI art he's too muscular not petite or frail looking enough. Maybe try to either generate better images or draw over AI stuff. I kinda enjoyed the actual art more despite it quality, something about that felt more genuine
Oh man what a shame. My intention isn't to be mean, and I hope the game remains successful, but I am so very disappointed by the new AI art. I liked the old art a lot, amateurish as it was. It had charm, and I think it fit the story very well. I'm quite biased against AI art in general, but in this particular case there's also the issue that Dax is now absolutely shredded, which feels a bit off personally.

Yeah I'll mark my vote down for preferring the old art. AI art is generic and boring.
And it certainly isn't OBJECTIVELY better like I've seen said here, are you kidding me? By what metrics? For one it looks like AI generation, which is a pretty hefty negative. For another it's art intended to get people off. I'm not sure there is a more subjective thing on the planet than horny art. I'll always have a lot more respect for someone trying their best than this generic slop. It didn't even look bad previously, was quite nice. I suppose one positive is that I can be quite rude to AI art and not have to worry about hurting anyone's feelings. Like, oh no will stable diffusion or wtf ever cry about it? Quit pumping out images if it gets enough negative comments? I wish, but it won't, so I'll just say, this is worse. It's shitty.

Unfortunately, I will not be putting time into this if that's going to be what's on offer. Which I mean, to be clear, I'm not paying for it, so no hard feelings. Creator doesn't owe me anything. But while I found the storytelling charming and interesting to a degree, it is nowhere near good enough for me to ignore the bad art for the sake of it.
May anyone who enjoys this get what they want out of it, best of luck to the creator.
