Why then does 1.2 download without a virus?
and 1.8 is immediately blocked by a problem in my system... or maybe it’s your system doesn't detect it as a virus.

you have to actually upload the downloaded file into virustotal
Why are you the only one finding a virus/trojan in the file? Because it's a false positive...
The BeeMan was nice enough to share those mods AND give you proof that it is safe,
either download the mod or stop busting his balls, I downloaded both files the day they were shared, and no one has hijaked my pc since then and it hasn't been running any differently.

1 Who knows, maybe I have a better antivirus, maybe the problem is in mega, maybe the problem is me, as he said... this is just a caution and a warning to others.
2 Yes, BeeMan, of course, did a great job with what he shared, and of course his balls are good, I appreciated them, grabbing them, I just wanted to warn people about the virus.

i download it from the patreon page to check and it has the same problem .. i think it's a false positive

I dont think virustotal has ever once produced a real positive. we'll see bethesda produce an attractive vanilla character before that ever happens

Windows also detected it as a virus for me. Just informing. The other file was fine. But like you said, could be a false positive.

yeh the url says positive but the file doesn't get deleted by windows security on my computer.

Yeah there is your problem, you keep scanning the link url instead of the actual file. So to sum it up for everyone else and answer his points:
-No, the file is not a fucking virus. Mega links are known to produce false positives a lot because it is literally scanning the entire site not just the one file. Also no, you dont have a better antivirus software infact you probably have the same as the rest of us. Stop scanning URLs and instead scan the actual file before you go saying stupid shit.

My system also reported it as infected and automatically deleted it. Chrome on Windows 10 if that matters.

I dont know what or how you're scanning it, Ive scanned it both with windows firewall and Malwarebytes and it reports nothing. The URL scan is as i've explained earlier a false positive. Other then that idk wtf else to tell you all, and honestly dont give a shit at this point since its not my mod.

Didn't "scan it" just the browser interrupted it.
I just went back and attempted the DL again and this time no problem. Maybe there was just a window of time where definitions weren't up to date for some, I don't know, but that should be the end of it.

It should be mentioned that it has recently happened that on mod download sites (Nexus, Loverslab, etc.) Windows has behaved like a bitch for no reason, marking any mod as a virus. I imagine that this must be the case because I highly doubt that those sites fill you with viruses with all their mods, although by that I don't mean that from time to time a virulent troll sneaks into those places (but usually those bitches get taken down pretty quickly)
