A remake will make most things incompatible because they are made for this game. You can mod the game as you want, models, gameplay, animations. TES6 is a better option for a "remake" option.

TES V is already good with the current modding.
If TES 6 is released one needs at least 5 years to reach a convenable stable and tweaked game.
And more one need further 5 years to fix all bugs.
I my latest development (lot and lot of fixes and tweaks) I reached finally a state close to perfection for Skyrim.
