I can't agree more . The leaks will exists always. For some people it is just a ... must. Just like grabbing toilet paper from public toilets.
I deeply believe that common sense and plain greed, sorry I meant profit and loss calculation will allow us to find a model in which:

1. Creators earn money at a level comparable (higher?!) than they do now
2. Users will not have to transfer data to "trusted third parties"

Ad 1. They might do it for fun, but profit is also very important.
Ad 2. I feel very uncomfortable if I have to share some data with anyone. Most of current countries are very powerfull against the weak but unexpectedly weak against the strong.

To change the topic a little bit.
New Year is coming. The next part of To Break the Thief will be released. We will be teased (mercilessly) by cruel author which don't want to get his work for free. I hope next will be better than the current one (at least if we think about available content )
