Same dev. He literally has two games that are basicalyl clones of each other. And I'm fairly sure I've seen a third one being basically the same too, somewhere, but can't remember the name...The home life stuff is from Public Sex Life, including much of the opener.
A cynic might say something along the lines of "gotta milk as much money out of as little code as possible with recycling"Same dev. He literally has two games that are basicalyl clones of each other. It's like... an endless cycle or restarting and never going much further than before...
You are wrong about this in a fairly funny way. The code for this one is mostly copied from a game from another creator. So no, they don't actually share almost any code.A cynic might say something along the lines of "gotta milk as much money out of as little code as possible with recycling"
I'll keep my money to myself for now but might change my mind if this moves beyond being a copy-paste of PSL-H's bare bones female protagonist portion...
I'm aware that this is practically a reskin of The Fixer, imo a superior product to anything I've tried from this dev, but I believe that my point of copypasting away for maximum income for minimum effort still stands. Especially since the beginning and home interactions are straight up copy-pasted from psl-h...You are wrong about this in a fairly funny way. To be fair, for a "0.03 demo" - who really cares. Lots of software is started by taking another piece of software from someone else as a base and then slowly morphing it into something different by changing one piece at a time. I hope this is what the developer is doing here and they don't plan to keep it looking exactly the same as The Fixer forever. Lots of people do this, but most projects don't see the light of day at this early of a stage, which is why it's so obvious here.
As the named Game developer it is quite easy to request thread ownership:I'd also like to request ownership of the thread too once it's made, thank you!
Are you okay man?As the named Game developer it is quite easy to request thread ownership:
Use the "!Report" button on the first post in the thread -> Select "Other" type something along the lines of "As the developer I would like to request ownership of this thread so that I can post updates and information in the original post."
As for the game development: I would pay $5 to $20 for a completed version however as with others I don't feel a milk for profits, tiny updates, low value is a good way to garner support so unlike many other games I have supported in the past I would not be willing to "subscribe" for a long term commitment even with a guarantee of completion since any dev can make any promise and then just disappear without any warning.
What would imply I wasn't okay in my message? Are you okay man?
It's just you replied to a 2 year old comment and then went on a weird rant about how you don't support developing games. It's a bit strange lolWhat would imply I wasn't okay in my message?
you are not the named person running the thread which was exactly what you asked for...
And I gave direct feedback about whether you would continue to develop this game for which I said I would not support it at this time but I have supported many developers before now.
Are you okay? had any brain scans for aneurisms that could explain a loss of memory about things you stated? I do have brain damage so if I already told you this my memory has gapped on it but if you haven't claimed the thread it needs repeating anyway.
I replied because you hadn't claimed ownership... As I say I have brain damage so dates are meaningless for the most part. If I asked a question that I wanted the answer to I would be grateful even if I had given up on the answer of course that is just my damaged brain seeking any help I can get so no worries. It's just you replied to a 2 year old comment and then went on a weird rant about how you don't support developing games. Game is really just only couple months old even though thread isn't. Also, I did claim ownership, you can look at the thread and see I'm the one running it? Which is why I'm just confused here lolI replied because you hadn't claimed ownership... As I say I have brain damage so dates are meaningless for the most part. Oh and I do support developing games just not with so little content especially 2+ years later having only 2 updates. I purchase many adult games from various sites I just don't like to pay more than about $20 for a game but even then I won't skip paying $120 if a game looks really good.
I'm not going to say anything about that conversation, I just need to ask something.Game is really just only couple months old even though thread isn't. Also, I did claim ownership, you can look at the thread and see I'm the one running it? Which is why I'm just confused here lol
