The Smartass... Work in progress...

Hi friends, wanted to share some news with you... These days I've been working a lot on the game, and I've been practicing character animation quite a bit...

What's been done so far:

Renders: 40

Animations: 4 (60 frames*4)

Text: 350 Lines...

I think I can do a release in January, but I won't promise...

if i might say it: please, dont bother with animations, just yet, or ever.
there are few great games with no animations at all, and many, many rubbish "fully" animated games.
this should be a vn, if it has a good plot, script, renders and scenes in overall, it doesnt need animations at all...despite those animations trolls in almost every thread here.

Hey buddy. I like to add animations to certain scenes... It doesn't have to be a sex scene... Moreover, sometimes I put the machine to render and go to work, in the evening I get the result of the work... I also leave for the night to render some animation scenes... But I agree with you that the most important thing is the plot....

Hi friends, I' d like to share some news with you, all weekend I worked hard on the game, and at the same time I studied the animation in Maya, a very interesting process of creating animations. In the upcoming update there will be a couple of animations created in Maya. I hope you like the result of my work... As for progress, about 70% of the work is already finished... Also in the upcoming update I have worked on the sound. I bought paid sound effects packs, and I'm integrating all of this into our game... Hopefully we'll see the update this month...

After seeing that smooth animation I suggest that game should be completely animated and there should not be a single static scene. We can wait as long as it takes and I'm speaking for every one of us!

Why on earth would someone invest so much time making random scenes that are not in the game.
This is just false advertising: Look, MC has sex with his Li. Hooraaah! That is what the game needs!
Dev: Scene took for ever to make and no, that is not for the game, was 4 my viewing pleasure.

So . .instead of fiddling with MC and his Li, two characters very familiar to dev and easy to direct,
get some other models, make them look the part throwing away countless hours,
then not show any animated sex scene in the game .. just ”cause.

What's next?
Hi friends, how are you doing? I'm doing good... Almost completely recovered from the covid... That's the third time I've had it. I didn't miss a single strain)
Well, let's talk about future developments... I had a lot of different thoughts. And the strongest thoughts that came to me lately were the ones that told me I had to end this activity... My thoughts have been telling me that I've been doing this for several years now, and not once have I even made it to the $200 mark... And it's very frustrating... I'm spending way more than I'm getting, not to mention my personal time that I'm spending on game development... But those thoughts have receded a bit, I don't know for how long... I don't know how many months my strength and patience will last... I can't endlessly stand in one place and work for the sake of working without getting any results from my work... The more so that this work occupies not a small part of my life...
But let's move on to the next steps... I'm thinking of doing a little update for "The Way", because people were starting to forget about my first game... Then release an update for "Smartass". What do you think about that? Looking forward to your suggestions and comments...

it seems that links in the op are 0.5 still, and here apart from compressed version there is no other 0.6 links (if we exclude porno-island as an outer source).

if you wanna for 0.6 to appear in the "latest" you should post one download link, either here, or in "requests" and report it as "game update"...after that uploaders should take care of updating the OP and promoting the game to the "latest".
