To answer your question, this artwork is done by the previous artist known as idlecum and they are no longer working on the project. The Dates of when this art came out was late 2019 and early 2020. There is a possibility that they remake this art with the new art team. but i would not bet on it

The Game is still being worked on but nothing has been public to people. the previous posts shows what has been going on with the game. there has been some info here and there. i personally expect that more info will come out in March and April. Zeta i think is getting medical work done on him this month, so maybe things will start to pick up in Q2 of this year. I just updated the reddit timeline

Cypress is not scamming and please don't spread lies that are based on nothing. Supporting ourbreak games is not a requirement and most info will end up on this thread either way, remake actually started work back in Q2 2019, they had to change to a different art team in Q1 of 2020 with actual work starting in 2021 . Tropical daze is being worked on in the background. The snow daze remake is the main thing that they are working on. Zeta is a Veteran and has been injured and is currently dealing with the VA or veteran affairs. I have documented more info on this reddit post here

Snow Daze is Getting a Remake and the Extra Day. Steam and Itchio owners who already own snow daze get the Remake and Extra day for free at least from what was said in the discord. Itchio version already has day zero and one with remade art. Not alot of progress of the remake is shown publicly because of the standards of the art team, Zeta is recovering and getting medical work done on him. Here is also a message from Zeta about the progress.
So No, Zeta is not milking the game, the update is free if you already own the game, no matter what platform you are on. also the remake is bound to end up on here or other sites when it comes out.

2019... so the remake is nearly 3 years in the making and still not out ? that's even worse than Summertime Saga's tech update (started in 2021) which at least gets daily streams & pre tech releases with many h scenes and STS is completely free so you don't even have to own the game in advance to be able to play it (without piracy).
And even that practice, doesn't relieve Darkcookie from being a dawdler.
You believe everything what devs say? didn't Icstor, GumDrop, Nergal, Whootch, Mr.ZZ, PsychoDelusional, LewdLab, DrBones etc. teach you a lesson ?
Even with defensive language of yours, it feels a lot like milking to me.

I dont understand, why we still back up for lazy or milker developers. There is a lot of developer share weekly progress but people like Dr Bones just lay down and milk money, other hand still some people try to hardcore defance for that milker developers. Dr Bones issue should be lesson for all of f95 users.
In this case it's because the dev isn't making enough to coast by on a lot of nothing, which implies that delays are for reasons other than just "I'm being lazy about it because I've got it made with this patreon stuff."
There are plenty of other reasons for consistent delays, such as abysmal time management skills and having too little self control to prevent yourself from flitting from one idea to another like a squirrel on crack. And incompetence is always more likely than maliciousness.

3 years with nothing but a few sketches to show for it. It does seem shady as fuck if you ask me. Everybody thought the whole remake thing would take 1 year MAX and then he goes to do the sequel.
When the old artist went away he should just cancel the remake and move straight to Summer Daze with the new one. Simple as.

The remake started actual work in 2021 due to the artist Idlecum leaving for a different project and zeta had to switch teams because of him leaving and the overall slow progress of the remake . I have read the script of the game and i have seen that art and the progress. I don't believe devs sometimes, i have learned my lesson after Valutman and camp pinewood, so i have seen a shit show before. The other devs you mentioned i have watched and see how there has been nothing. Zeta has been telling us the progress in discord and the lack of communication should be blamed on the new art team. Tropical would be in the same place time and work wise because again the art team is not willing to show updates until they are to their standards . at this point, just move on if you dont want to wait for this and dont support if you want to wait. This is a waiting game and i plan to wait while spending no money at all.
