Because you somehow during your playthrough didn't went thru Astrja, Astrid and/or Sonja stories to set the conditions shown on the screenshots bellow.
You can check the stories progression on the stats screen, my own on Astrid playthrough in the last screenshot, have playthrough saves for each LI btw (and yes I modified the str/dex/int values with URM lol didn't want to be bother by them). Any doubt feel free to ask me.

If you are playing WITHOUT mod it looks like you have reached the end of the sisters path (both).
If you have enough points for Astrja AND Astrid you should be able to choose

Yeah probably is, I always play with mods because I play many games, and not only AVNs, so mods save me time and I can check faster each LI story.
Snowstorm for example must be one of the AVNs I have more separate playthroughs and worth it and it is very well done, the main strength of this game is the branching among other very well done things. Each little variation gives you much more insight on the story overall and all its different outcomes, that is how I like to play since I'm a "completionist" lmao.

I picked this game back up for the first time in quite a while and I was reminded that this is one of the few VN's that I actually enjoy the story. The characters are nice combination of fun and interesting so it's quite easy to get invested in the story. Most of the time I'll "skip unseen" my way through a VN story but the characters and dialog in this game are compelling enough to make me care about them.
About the only annoying thing is the 'stat checks' which gate you away from choices, I get that it's part of the gameplay but man is it annoying when you're 1 point away from a threshold. I had to reload old saves alot and make choices I didn't like to get the stats I needed for a particular path.
I got lucky that didn't need to go back too far back, but man I can't imagine how frustrated I'd be if I made choices in prior chapters that locked me out of my desired path. Thankfully, I had so many save files I could go back to specific choices and boost a given stat high enough to clear a 'stat check' later on. I'm kind of worried about future updates because my Int and Dex stats aren't high enough for me to be confident that I'll be able to follow the path I want and I'm paranoid about minor choices (like sex with Talia) having effects later on that ruin my playthrough.
That said, the payoff for my save scumming was worth it. Getting the Sonja and Astrja threesome was absolutely worth the effort. I love these two characters and getting the chance to 'romance' them into a 'loving threesome' was a great outcome. Orginally my choices locked me into Sonja solo but I was able to get Astrja with a bit of save reloading. I'm really hoping I can keep these two until the end. Sure, I'd like to add Yrsa to the mix but I'll be happy so long as I can take Sonja and Astrja as wives.

My game crashes on the blowjob scene with Astrid under the bridge, on Mathilda's route. I only passed when I held Ctrl with skip unseen scenes activated
