Yes, Duststorm which continues from another ending of Sandstorm
Reading this statement and having experienced the "almost" endings for my 2 favorites girls this update (both my choices were to stay and marry them with 10 points), will the next game be a sequel from this game, or 'another' game, like a parralel universe thing were the MC will not have been in Snowstorm?
With so many ending letter possibilities, once every game in the series is over, will it be the MC went thru X different worlds thru gates consecutively, or will it be more like depending on the path you get assigned to crossing the first gate "duplicate" the MC and each path becomes its unique instance? I dunno if i am clear on my train of tought. ALso, in the true end of the game, will you pick a girl to end up with, will your choices meet together, will some again do cameo appearences?
And about the girls from Sandstorm, i assume they all have some type of godly shenanigans going on (like the ones in Snowstorm) to be able to pass thru the gate also without dying? And will it also be a possibility that the Viking girl you pick ALSO get in the gate with you like in Sandstorm and also get separated? I can imagine more easily Rion/Maddie/Nora able to adapt and resolve 'their' story than Astrja/Nox/Candrid if they end up alone and memory wiped somewhere only speaking barbarian and being kinda uncultured. Will they resolve their path on their own, or without MC help, will they end up abandoned and stuck? For example, i know from playing WW that Maddie/Rion appears helping the English (which they may or may not meet and work together to solve their issues), but for my Candrid MC, he will never have a chance to even have a chance to meet them since he aint going to England, so will they be lost for them MC as if they basically died? I imagine in Sandstorm its Nora that will cameo, which would tilt the balance a bit more toward my theory that passing the Egypt gate sent everyone in a different area.
I will also say that i prefer this game over the previous one. It feels less moraly extreme on the evil route. I know for example my favorite path Candrid is the evil path, but it seems like the MC is much less "evil" in this one. Yes you kill some people and also you just "kill" Skadi just because, instead of just discarding the circlet like on the Mathilda path and you "betray" Sonja and Astrja by siding with the BBs in the tournament, but its i think more in character and not as grave as for example (from what ive read in the comments, as i would never pick that path) in the previous game, where you can manipulate and corrupt Rion, your childhood friend, and have her gang raped by the whole fortress to get access to the temple, which for me is magnitudes more evil that whatever happens in Snowstorm evil path.
