So why are there no Star Trek games (and why so little Star Wars)

Late 90's, early 2K's had a lot of ST porn games. Unfortunately they were for the most part badly photoshoped edits of ST actress heads pasted onto porn actress bodies.

Actually the reason of why there's not many Star Wars & Star Trek porn parody is because there's no easy asset of it. Many developer mainly who use Daz, only took easily access asset through buy or pirating it. Nowadays, there some asset for Star Wars and a few try to make it, but many of them failed as when they try to expand, there's no other SW asset but Light Saber and a few model of Storm Troopers. Thus, the dev have to make their own model and this will eliminate which true artist and which are just opportunist developer who rely on easy asset & exploit for Patreon donation.

Really? For me, if there is any game/tv/movie/literally anything that I enjoyed, I will search for porn of it. And you know rule34 is never broken.
Yes, really. Don't get me wrong, i've seen some stuff, mostly bad parodies or cgi gif's with known characters, but it doesn't get me excited.

Lara Croft on the other hand is the complete opposite, i can watch stuff about her for hours but i was already "grown up" as she appeared.

As a fan of star wars, im just not sexually attracted to any of the characters, although i did think some of them are attractive. I just have no interest in them banging. Would be hilarious to see C-3PO flirt though "Miss, the odds of you successfully navigating an asteroid field are 3720 to 1 but the odds of you navigating to my heart are absolute"

Star wars is so ripe for some mind control sith lord action.

Hmmm... death star just seems to blow up and empire stuff never works out. Lets try a different angle shall we?

I was actually running around with that idea for a while now to create a Star Trek / Orville type game where you explore a different planet with every new update with each a unique short storyline and different protagonists like it's done in those series... but a lot more perverted. ;)

Now if I only had the patience to properly learn what's needed to make it... and wasn't so lazy...
Honestly mate, if it's art you need to learn, I'd be willing and able (IMO at least) to help you out on that front. I was toying with exactly the same idea in my head. If you're lacking coding skills (or both :( ), sad times indeed.

I remember making a voting poll regarding popular game settings for an adult game about a year ago. And Sci-Fi/Fantasy scenarios appeared to be much less popular than everyday life genre. The horror genre was the least popular, as I recall. So game devs simply follow players preferences. Plus it's definitely less stressful for devs in terms of assets production.

That is generally what I expected. It kinda saddens me to know that nobody really cares about sci fi anymore. Even here. (I know of many people who like it ofc, but relatively speaking it's a minority).

I honestly hoped for more people to want such games, because games like these (as in, H-games) allow so much more than regular erotic content (or non-erotic too). Thinking things like popular sci fi races, or even weirder shit (if you're into such things :S).

Here's something on the bright side:cool::
"Subverse - a tactical RPG/SHMUP hybrid that takes place in a fully explorable galaxy where you get to be the Captain of your very own ship ...which is crewed by the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit. "

Ohohoho, how did I miss this? It looks extremely promising (which makes me skeptical at best right now, considering previous attemps), but I'll definitely keep an eyes on this one.

I would not say that people (or rather developers) don't care about sci-fi, but 3D games in particular suffer a lot from lack of assets and buying from stores ends with a certain level of sameness to one's final product. Then it in circles, more normal life games get produced, leading to more hype for the genre and more people making that type of game.

There's an urban legend about Kim Cattrall posing on the Enterprise bridge nude in her Vulcan ears, but Leonard Nimoy supposedly got wind of it and destroyed the negatives. Leonard was involved in writing the story, but of course Nicolas Meyer was the director. Anyways, as urban legends go, yeah seeing Kim as a naked Vulcan on the bridge...

Younger Kirstie Alley was pretty hot too!

Pretty much why I scrapped the idea of a fantasy/medieval type game

I'm not saying I'm a great artist. But I do always make 2D art, for this sole reason. 3D art can be fantastic when done correctly, but most of the time it's just standard assets thrown together.

BTW, there ARE a number of Star Trek resources for Daz and Poser, including a number of free assets:

The issue is that a lot of these are from the V4/M4 era. While clothing may be able to be autofitted to newer characters, and props should be able to be used with say Genesis 3, the face and body morphs are more problematic if you like working with Genesis 3 instead of V4/M4 era figures, since most of those are made for the M4/V4 figures.

If you widen your scope a bit, there's also some .objs and such that can be helpful, if you don't mind putting in a bit of extra work.

The bigger issue is that CBS/Paramount is paying closer attention to their IP these days, which may introduce extra headaches for developers if they get noticed, so the question then becomes 'wouldn't it be easier to pay homage to the genre (Orville style) without actually using the IP itself?' There are a few sci-fi oriented games on this forum, and I'm sure some others might be able to cite a few examples (some have already) that involve the bridge/starship crew dynamic that we see in the ST series.

Heavy Five is getting a bit of forum post traffic these days, but while it's a space/sci-fi game, it has it's own setting. Nonetheless, there ARE a few sci fi games around here if you take the time to look. Last Days of the Universe also comes to mind. But this thread is about Star Trek porn games...

Star Wars has a number of free assets linked on the poserdazfreebies site as well, and I can think of a couple of trainers off of the top of my head that involve Star Wars (Death Star Trainer being one of those).

I've wondered the same, ST is so filled with boring dystopian repressed bullshit I'd go.mental from boredom and get sent to a reeducation camp inside of a week rather than choke to death on mayonnaise and vanilla. So corruption games in particular would be a great fit.

I don't have the skills but always saw the "Enterprise" setting as a perfect setting for a game, given the smoking hot Vulcan and the corruption possibilities using Pon Farr... my idea, which I'm hesitant to share but given the fact I'll never act on it... was: A Transporter accident swaps good Archer with mirror Archer, who, realizing he cant get back to his universe he plots to corrupt the crew to begin his own empire, starting of course with T'pol and Hoshi. He enlists the doctor using techniques he learned to manipulate denobulans (promising many concubines) who then begins creating artificial hormones and pheromones which can be used to slutify/ bimbofy the girls.
