BTW, there ARE a number of Star Trek resources for Daz and Poser, including a number of free assets:

The issue is that a lot of these are from the V4/M4 era. While clothing may be able to be autofitted to newer characters, and props should be able to be used with say Genesis 3, the face and body morphs are more problematic if you like working with Genesis 3 instead of V4/M4 era figures, since most of those are made for the M4/V4 figures.
If you widen your scope a bit, there's also some .objs and such that can be helpful, if you don't mind putting in a bit of extra work.
The bigger issue is that CBS/Paramount is paying closer attention to their IP these days, which may introduce extra headaches for developers if they get noticed, so the question then becomes 'wouldn't it be easier to pay homage to the genre (Orville style) without actually using the IP itself?' There are a few sci-fi oriented games on this forum, and I'm sure some others might be able to cite a few examples (some have already) that involve the bridge/starship crew dynamic that we see in the ST series.
Heavy Five is getting a bit of forum post traffic these days, but while it's a space/sci-fi game, it has it's own setting. Nonetheless, there ARE a few sci fi games around here if you take the time to look. Last Days of the Universe also comes to mind. But this thread is about Star Trek porn games...
Star Wars has a number of free assets linked on the poserdazfreebies site as well, and I can think of a couple of trainers off of the top of my head that involve Star Wars (Death Star Trainer being one of those).
