The truth is. I was impressed how good the blender render looked (left pic). I hear all the time, Daz this and Daz that but the left pic looks as good as most Daz renders I have seen. I compared both pics with some made by the dev who is considered by many big dev artists to be the best in the industry. The left pic is not quite there yet but the right? Let's just say it is not even close. It would be a shame to turn the left render into something that looks like a bad Photoshop pic from a porn magazine. Maybe the votes have gone that way, so it seems that a bad Photoshop is what people expect now.
so you are saying the left image is better vs the right? not sure what bad Photoshop means here but we use Blender because it's the best tool to do 3D AVN's, not everyone is a fan of the AI polish, I get that but it's there to enhance a render and not compete with it

The AI one is clearly better unless you wanna spend time and resources improving the renders natively. If you did that would obviously be better than AI. But no doubt you're using it because cheaper and easier. Also I have a question, will there be dramatically different consequences for the two paths in future updates? Or is it about player preference, like choose whether to see something. Anyway, the AI stuff is genuinely unique and innovative. Good luck!
Great points but no matter how much time you invest in hair or clothes...they will always be miles off what AI can do, wait till you see the animations in the new release
For the new update we have a lot more choices from choosing between 2 paths to choosing how far you go down that path or how what endings come with that
For our game we wanted to have the rendering and art nailed before we invested more time into the story, we are at that point and partly in this release but from the next release, the story does grow a lot more and a lot more options appear and hopefully we will move to a sandbox in 1-2 releases.
