The root of the problem is the resolution. I converted ten minutes of the game to 1080p resolution, and the problem was solved. I used ImageMagick...

sounds like you should make games if it’s that easy) it’s not just the assets but also game ui, assets etc… renpy automatically scales the assets, we are exploring optimizations for ep2 like the halloween special

hey just mass converted the images to 1080p..windows power tools could do the same...but keep the file names.,..and again..4k images are much better vs 1080p

other than that – any game & dev adopting combined/mixed/smart approach to ai usage for animations & renders is welcome

the quicker it becomes the new norm – the quicker we'll get even higher quality

I play on Steam and download the game from this site. Both versions work fine for me. NO ERRORS OR CRASHES. I only play on PC

where's the freezing at, I personally tested on 3 machines, is it in animations ? again the builds i ship on steam and patreon we haven't heard anything about freezing...

after every animation -> next still render shows up (or maybe it's not even the next render, but the one that was right before the animation). when trying to click to switch to next still render -> that's where it freezes. it doesn't immediately keep going, it's just stuck on that still render that goes right after any & every animation

also it sucks that it allows to skip animations so easily. would be nice to have a setting "do not skip animations" so I wouldn't have to go back every time I accidentally skip it

go into settings and in pacing select 6s and that will stop you from auto skipping animations, also don’t click or press too many keys or renpy auto progresses, play in windowed mode and see if it’s better, again on my machines plus steam didn’t hear about this issue, try the halloween special and see if that’s better

well this build has 11 languages, everything except german from what I saw, steam and patreon have german + the others from here

yeah, fixed in paid builds, they are empty just there? all the way to end of day 4
