It is finished, for all intents and purposes. He just periodically adds more scenes for the girls or revamps old ones inbetween working on his other project (us patreons voted in favour of continuing to add to the game despite it being complete). Given its very Harem an entire town nature it in theory can keep getting added to so long as he has desire to do so especially with so many established characters in place to expand upon.

It's effectively complete, it's just getting some small updates. Lots of content already though.
Yeah Solvalley already includes like... 9+ different endings, and 120+ h-scenes. At this point the updates are developing side stories and adding more group sex content (which has been pretty great). I would consider the game pretty much complete as is.
I would highly recommend the cheat mod for House Arrest, it has partial replay gallery and allows control over the core stats. I played with it and it made clear the endings available and how to achieve them, if I recall correctly.
House Arrest is a great game, the story and character development is much stronger than Solvalley, although that's never really been the point of Solvalley... Yeah there's at least 3-4 different possible endings. There's

I took this game for granted, it made me nut countless times and now that the game is over with minimal updates, only now I realize how empty my schedule is.
I know exactly what you mean. I find myself returning to this game more than just about any other. There's such a variety of scenes, sluts to pursue, bizarre scenarios, and extremely lewd activity that it doesn't feel as repetitive to replay as many of my other preferred games. I still laugh aloud at several of the scenes every time I see them (the Ruzena scene where MC knocks creep out is classic). This game made me grow to love HS models and animations as well, through which I've discovered dozens of other terrific games.
Favorite scene is still with the bartender (Victoria?), who doesn't love a 1 man bukkake finish? Mary's scenes are pretty good too.

I agree that this HS game is pretty good along with a couple of others like Waifu Academy (the best 3d porn games are BeingADiK and WVM), but there is something special about this game and WA that other HS games don't have, I've seen great works that might even rival these two, but they have little content so far and the games with a ton of content don't compare, I've played many HS games like Mythic Manor and they just don't compare.
Why ? The sense of perversion, the character models, the situations and the poses are all much superior in SS and WA than the other finished/lots of content HS games. The other HS games either don't have animations, boring poses and/or the models are too smooth/clean.
You get what I mean ?

Also I wanted to say that my favorite scene in WA is the mom bath scene where you replace the dildo with your dick.
But I have many favorite scenes in Solvalley, although my favorite favorite is all the Tifa scenes. I basically love 80% of the scenes in the game and that's rare for me. 15% I like and I only maybe feel indifferent or don't like about 5% of the scenes.

It's funny, when I play Solvalley I usually get a little embarrassed because of the poor quality of the text and images - especially in relation to the older scenes - yet I notice that there is something about the game that is strangely entertaining, although not even I know exactly what it is.
I've played several games that are objectively better than Solvalley in practically all aspects, but that don't have anything that really encourages me to review old scenes. I think one of the reasons for this is that "normal" devs are more concerned with creating scenes that make sense within the plot and that serve to develop the characters. They rarely put the characters that players like in carefree situations just to generate entertainment and hot scenes (basically what in normal games they call "fan service").
For example, at Solvalley there is that scene where Sarah's mother teaches her daughter and friends how to use condoms. That scene is not really important (as practically all the scenes in the game), but it's fun because it's putting the characters we like in situations that are funny and hot. Note: I always laugh in this scene when Sarah asks her mother if the procedure is the same for the different colors of condoms.
One of the earliest scenes in the game (Lara HJ day 5) is automatic and flips the usual script, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Unlike most incest games where the primary objective is to corrupt/seduce your relatives, we learn here that our stepsister is already as perverted as Alex. We're then left to our own devices to explore and pursue who interests you. It's a solid foundation for a unique, hilarious 5 star title.
It's interesting, although this game doesn't set out to focus on slow burn or grand overarching narrative, it has a surprising number of genuinely touching moments in addition to the humor. Most of the main girls were well differentiated and had distinct personalities and appearance. I thought several of the endings were very well done and fit perfectly with that girl's personality and context.
Yeah Sarah's dialogue is pretty consistently hilarious, up there with Lisa and Miranda. I've been inspired, I'm off to start a fresh playthrough!

It's really a porn sitcom.
What you're describing is exactly what a sitcom is. Characters you care about and enjoy in crazy/funny, or in this case hot, situations. Sitcoms can go on for seasons and seasons with no real plot to speak of aside from the compartmentalized plot for each episode or a small multi episode arc, because the focus isn't really the story: it's the characters.
