Okay, people, I don't know why I needed this - maybe because of the headache that arose when looking at 16:9 pictures, shrinked to 4:3 format, but here is the result.
The in-game resolution has been increased from 816x624 (4:3) to 1085x624 (`16:9). The same was done with the pictures in the Pictures folder ONLY, w/o Lockpicking subfolder. Just copy and replace, having made a backup copy.
Possible problems - the inscriptions in the menu remained in 4:3 format, the darkening in the day / night cycle does not cover the entire screen. Perhaps some files were recoded incorrectly. Perhaps something else. But, at least, i have no headache anymore.
If you find problems - do not write to me, I will not fix anything.
For 1.9 version.

I don't even touch the sewers in a long term, you did everything? Get the key on the guard or learned lockpick?

Well is not "wrong" (816x624) is rpgmaker mv native resolution, weird can be, still i think is to late to fix that.

Somatra have 2445 images those images are 816x624(4:3) is not hard to stretch it to 1152*648 (16:9) several softwares can do the trick and there is tons of plugins that help me to change game resolution;

Now the problems;
All the images will lose something arround 20%~30%( I didn't do the exact math, it's an approximation) of quality,
which makes details difficult to see.

The menus and few tilesets are affected by resolution i've to make it again.

The game will increase in size considerable.

Still, this is not a final decision, if someone knows how to make the images loss less quality maybe possible to do it instead of making a new update i can "Fix this", will get few feedback at my discord.

I'm running a public poll at discord, to change the game resolution based on your's points it's running at 75% vs 25% to change game resolution to 1158*648 (16:4) so there is a high chance that i change it and fix all the bugs to 2.1 version, the new version 2.0 it's already finish.

No, i mean "Tab" it's the default key to hide text all over the rpgmaker games, I change x to c to open menu due a bug, and you can press f1 to clean all the images at screen, by the way shift is used to walk fast or slower

Hi guys doing good? i'll upgrade the somatra pictures quality from 816x624(4:3) native rpg maker resolution to 1158*648(16:4) Same used in Tales of eleonora if you have played, this will give the game a brand new look this decision come from a public poll at discord.


i'll show a comparison;


This is the native rpg maker resolution 816x624 current on game.


This is 1152x648 without IA treatment it's a little blurry. Note: Some pictures got more blurry than others at least in my tests.


And this is what i want to do it;


It's the same 1152*648 resolution using a IA to fix the image quality creating new pixes and fixing the blurry thing
even if you are blinded, you can see that an enormus gain in quality

The problem is; I lived from patreon money to pay some of my bills and eat, this IA costly arround 45$ but is the best IA for image that i tested is really good improving the image quality

So if you have condition and wants/can help me to buy this software please support me at patreon so i can buy it, to make the resolution fixes/Improvements to 2.1 version.

Am I only one who has problem that when I play to long(30-45 min) and try to save, then in menu where you choose save/load it just bug out and I cant exit this display and need to restart game (sometimes I forget to save, so replaying 30 minutes of the same game with a lot of randomness is pretty boring)?
