In lutris for the game you can open the Wine Configuration(in the config menu to the right of Play button, odd graph like button), Libraries tab, In the "New override for library:" add winhttp
It should show as winhttp (native, builtin)
It will then use the winhttp.dll in the base directory. You should have BepInEx, winhttp.dll, doorstop_config.ini, in the same directory as the Some Modeling Agency.exe.
i consider downloading if they can fix cheats ingame and the moded cheats really need put re effort

Probably , the worst part of this game devs they have 24h a day to just use 5 to 10minutes to post any news on what they doing or screenshot what they work on , but mostly all the devs of X games arround here or patreon do the same , wait and wait to keep milking patreons.
And if you think about it its even worst the fact that ppl keep supporting them no matter what , theres lots of games we follow here that have been 5+ years and all they do its post 1 new version after 1 year or more and its broken or no one plays it because its in a worst state than older versions of the game.
Personal opinion on other game , WildLife , that game was a sandbox of 3d models a little village and few teleports back in the day , the game had good graphics and it was runing pretty well even on old PC's , they started to change everything , loading assets , story that is never finished , jumped to UE5 and lots of weird stuff , game runs worst , game is a mess and still they milk the ppl years later with a worst product than it was 2 or 3 years ago.

Most cheats should work if you launch 0.10.4e, enable them and go back to the newest version.New update next year?

It requires the latest monkey 1.9 and SMA 0.10.4d+ for proper loading.
The bedroom comes with a girl and a few poses to start with. Don`t be shy to create your own and share them :wink:

Seeing the new version of the game, I installed it, because I love games that allow you to interact with NPCs in unscripted ways.
Lo and behold, I still don't understand what the point of this game is? Nothing is intuitive, the UX/UI is still a wreck, and as far as I can tell, there are zero ways to actually *reliably* interact with the models?
I really want a game like this to exist, but this game despite it's astounding 4/5 stars (which is ridiculous), is nearly unplayable as an actual game and being able to do anything at all feels wholly dependent on cheats because there is no rhyme or reason or gameplay loop.
Does anyone know if it's even possible to accurately predict any of the proper chat lines? I see zero tells the player could use to figure out which one is right for any given model.
This feels like a whole bunch of systems just smashed together with no concept of an end point and basically impossible gameplay.

I would be fine with how most other games handle it... your body doesn't actually exist and the "hand" (or other object) is just projected disembodied onto whever your cursor is pointed when you click.
I don't understand why they did a player simulated body at all TBH, as it is incredibly awkward to position and use, up there with some of the worst controls I have experienced in three decades of gaming.
Your points are valid and correct, but the point of the game is actually pretty clear from the title, you're an agent rating models. The current version finally gives you a way to make money by referring them to other agencies based on different profiles and you can hire and "train" a girl that you particularly like. The initial batch of girls are very random, but if you do a good job of rating them the quality of future girls will improve over time. You could review the thread or join discord to get suggestions on how to rate girls properly to filter out things you don't like or things you want to see more in the future.
I'd say the 4/5 star ratings are mostly for the great potential and the fact that there is nothing else quite like it available.
You can view the model's resume before interviewing her, which may give a hint as to how she may react to the different chat options, but honestly I'm not really sure which lines are best either, lol.
Unfortunately there are bugs and the dev is not quick to fix them, but fortunately there are some modders who have done some great work at dealing with many of the issues.
When I say I don't know the point of the game, it's not about what the developer says the game is about, it's about what the gameplay actually *is* about and supports.
I could say "I am making a new Doom game!" and then release a Super Mario clone. That doesn't make my Super Mario clone a Doom-like.
Nothing in this game, other than the fact that arbitrary ratings exist, actually makes a functional game out of rating models.
There are no support or gameplay systems to make that reasonably functionally possible outside of cheating (note: being literally possible doesn't matter)
The previous version was actually better in that regard as at least you didn't have to pay minimums, now, you've got to spend money just to see models, so cranking through them wholesale to just happen to stumble upon one with the right "personality" doesn't work.
People need to stop rating things off of what they wish they were, rate them off what they are now.
While there are issues and bugs, the basic concept of running a modeling agency definitely exists and is fully functional. You start a campaign to find models based on a profile that you set up, interview girls and rate the traits you want and don't want to see in the future, then refer them to other agencies to make money to pay the rent and perhaps hire your favorite to train. All that exists without using cheats.
I agree, the previous version was easier without having to deal with money, but technically it was a demo, and the current version is the beginning of an actual game with basic goals.

So what's the point of complicating things? I play to relax (physically, but mostly mentally). Why do I need these challenges? Turning a game in which the main element is sex (It all comes down to "will you feck her or not" and not to "first go through all hell without weapons" )
(one way or another, everything comes down to this) into a simulator of a real modeling agency mixed with pocket prostitutes is not a good idea, in my opinion. But yes. My opinion is not the opinion of the entire planet (that's what saves it ).P.S. I play what you call "demo" and I don't know any grief
