I don't disagree with you and think the previous version with CommonFactory's Homework mod is probably the best way to play, but was just pointing out that the current version is definitely a fully functional, albeit flawed, game in response to a comment that claimed otherwise.
It is not fully functional, at best you could describe this software as alpha state.
The model payouts do not work (Spend half an hour with a model, do all objectives, payout is $0), making the game impossible.
The physical interactions constantly bug out, making the game impossible.
The UI intractions constantly bug out, making the game impossible.
The campaign system will softlock the player within 2 weeks on normal settings, making the game impossible.
Literally the only way you can describe this as functional is if you describe it soles as.
1. It exists.
2. There are models.
That's it... no other piece of this game actually functions in a reasonably playable state.
It's little better than a tech demo.
I want it to succeed, really, so much so that I spend the last three hours trying to figure out a way to make it work. Trying different things. It does not, there is no reasonable repeatable way to make progress in this game other than one.
If you start campaigns and immediately dispatch the models without even looking at them to another agency, and you spam this forever, you'll technically make extremely slow money.
