I wasn't sure how good 3D works as reference for such a stylized artstyle. But looking at it now I think you're right about the potential benefit.

Extremely crude mockup but yeah, once his colors start getting applied the 3D look is diminished quite a bit. When I tried making her head myself from scratch using the model's head pose instead of copypaste though I clearly goofed because it went completely to shit so this post doesn't have that.

This is the kind of bondage spitroast position I wanted back with my Mercy scene but had to make due with what I could, though the body of this girl ended up having proportions more like Galatea's.
