Or to expect people to move from one message board or another (discord) that caters to those who are willing accept what that dev team produces as something worthy of supporting. It's especially odd that a developer thinks there will be engagement from a forum where many think the developers are milking their subscribers while being hostile towards said pirate forum

This dev is a moron. Yes I pirate adult games but if I like the game I sometimes support them by subscribing to them. i used to support Four element and rogue-like even tho i could get them for free. after reading what these devs saying i refuseto give them any of my money plus their content is just hot garbage now. I hate these spin off events. and now their new update is just renpy port of their last event. I would subscribe for maybe 20$ and unsubscribe cause I dont believe a adult game is worth over 20$

I thought the Themyscaria event was an excuse to have more WW content but so far this hasn't been the case. Hope he does some scenes with her around the town, villa and expand the tower cell scenes too.

Never assume that SR7 is going to actually use Wonder Woman. He literally spent years teasing doing her cell content only to put out completely random content instead. Diana assets were streamed multiple times before she so much as got a single scene.

So, what, the first update of 2024 is a mediocre Ren'Py port missing 90% of the content in the main game? That's actually quite funny.

it is an expanded stand alone version of the Themiscyra event, in Ren'py instead of Unity. The (major) events will get stand alone releases for simplicity and for the mobile players, because of the file sizes. The additions will be rolled back into the Unity version at some point however.

I truly dislike the direction the game took, compared to the potential it had. But guys, I think the amount of toxicity here is not deserved. Maybe we need to cope with the changes. We have to accept that the game is different now, worse to what it could have been, but it probably matches the skills, time and resources of the developers. If we judge the updates for what they are instead of for what they could have been, if we judge them in a vacuum, I think SU is not doing bat at all.

The amount of content in the game is huge, at the cost of creativity, but even then. And the amount of pics is huge too, at the cost of quality. But with such a huge project, there are always costs associated.

If we don't want, we don't have to play it or support it. I think some criticism is always great. But some people I have observed that only come here to hate on the game, every update. I am not sure if that makes sense or it's healthy behavior.

What I mean is... maybe some of you guys should just move on?

Well, I for one rather enjoyed the SU:Themyscira Ren'Py standalone.

I have nitpicks of course, but Ren'Py has always run more smoothly for me than SU Unity, and it's nice to be able to customize the windowed screen size simply by dragging a corner...

I haven't played SU Unity for over a year, so a lot of the Themyscira content was new to me. The cookie cutter chain scene artwork was annoying, but other than that, yeah there's some new artwork in there that I liked. Donna and Cassie were just teased, I'd like to see them more fully implemented in future versions, assuming we get new updates.

I have a unique appreciation for the amount of work it takes to port SU stuff over to Ren'Py. Others are better at extracting data from Unity than I am, but I for one think that HenshinVolt did a pretty good job porting over the alternating animations from Unity. The build is stable, it's really just a beta in name only, didn't have any issues, well other than the sprite darkening when a character was not talking was a bit excessive, I'll be sharing a mini-mod for that later.

I know that others won't agree, but I'm glad to see a PC/Mac version in Ren'Py, and if this lays the groundwork for other SU Ren'Py builds, I look forward to it.

As for the project that I'm spearheading, SU ReImagined, it's always been about trying new things, and it's coming along slowly but surely. I should have another update to share soon.

It's too bad that SmokeShank has such a bad attitude towards this place, he likes to pretend that this place doesn't help his projects. Sure, it's a buccaneer forum and all, but there ARE a number of people here that support his games after finding them HERE! There are a lot of good eggs on this forum that help each other out, which is why I like this place, occasional trolling aside.
