Kinda random but I saw some Redmoa animations on youtube with the Raven model and recently got a VR set. Just had the thought of "What if Something Unlimited, with Redmoa Animations and Skuddbutt 3D models and VR."

Granted it's never gonna happen, but it was a fun thought.
Yeah a game like that would probably end up being more of a femdom game.
update when?

Isn't this the biggest fuckup beyond the release window 'till now?
No this is pretty normal for them now. They've been getting worse for years. They might even formalize the delay soon with a three month release, like when they realized they couldn't do monthly anymore and assured us two month releases would mean no more delays and more content.

When he said another round of testing last time it took 23 days for it to release.
and today we got.

So if history repeats we have 23 days left for the release.

Yeah there's more delays now but I am finding there are less bugs (so we don't get the .333 releases etc so much) Scenes used to dead end more.

Remember when Smokeshank proudly said they never were late? I remember, lol. You guys do realise they do this on purpose right. Delaying = less total amount of builds per year = less work for same "salery".

Edit: This delay and extra time spend does not equal more content. The past has shown they only cut content, never add any extra.

I'm bitching about people bitching, at this point I don't care about delays anymore, makes the waiting easier.
So you bitch about people bitching because it makes waiting easier, but you can't understand that people might bitch about the delays and SR7's work ethic for the same reasons?

It's a thread about a porn game, mate. When it doesn't get updated there isn't much to talk about and it's not like you can praise the guy for delaying it. If you don't like to see people complaining then go join SR7's discord, everyone gets banned there immediately if they say anything negative about the "team".

This is why I like neutral platforms like reddit where you'll get that healthy balance.

Although F95 won't ban you it's largely similar to the discords; legions of people that spend all day online ready to shout down anyone who profanes the developer they've deified. It's behavior I see regularly on this site.

As someone who used to support Gunsmoke, (did for almost three years), I legitimately thought this game was worth the 5$ a month I was pledging for it. Got access to builds early, got to be part of the discord, met some pretty cool people there. After they moved to the 'bi-monthly' releases, I thought that would mean more content, after all, they had twice the amount of time to work on a build as opposed to monthly releases. And then bi-monthly becomes bi-monthly plus a few days, then a week, then a few weeks, then almost three months. I wound up pulling my pledge because I was sick of giving them free money, only for them to keep jerking everyone's chains with empty promises of 'it'll be out by the end of the week, it'll be out by the weekend, it'll be out next week'. I stopped pledging to Oni for the same reasons, a lot of empty promises regarding possible release dates that they kept missing. Whether this is because they are falling behind on work, biting off more than they can chew when working on each build, or they're just setting up potential launch days just so people will stay invested even though they have no intention of honoring that release day, I've had enough.

The last build for this game came out in NOVEMBER, four months ago, going on five now. Even if you factor in Gunsmoke taking a break for the holidays, that's still more than enough time to crank out another build. The sad part was that the build launched in November was supposed to be their October build (I think), meaning they were also incredibly late on THAT build too.

Missing deadlines is already annoying enough, yet the minds behind SU keep insisting they're doing bi-monthly builds even though the gap between releases only grows with each new build. They're milking the patrons they still have left. There's an easy way around this and they aren't taking it. They could do the method of only charging patrons when a build is actually released (but then they wouldn't get months of free money for no effort). Or they could change the release schedule again, do a 'the build will be released when it's ready', rather than 'it'll be out on the 12th of never'. Hell, that's basically what they're doing now, only releasing the builds when they're ready. If Gunsmoke or Smoke-Shank would just come out and say that, I wouldn't have as much problems with what they're doing. But it's because of this baiting with empty promises that I will never pledge money to this game ever again. You can use the argument of 'well, you're getting the game for free by pirating it, so you don't have a right to complain' all you want. I've already paid MORE than enough for this game.

SU may be a fun game, maybe one of the best on this site, but it's definitely not worth all the months I gave gunsmoke free money.

Lmao fuck no. Reddit's upvote/downvote system intrinsically favors the majority's voice. Try criticizing, say, a show on a show's subreddit or a game on a game's subreddit. You will get destroyed.

F95Zone doesn't ban, and the like system doesn't bury unconventional comments. If this were reddit, your comments would be at the very bottom and invisible. This is as neutral as it can be.

And it's only natural that f95 tends to be full of people that shit on gunsmoke rather than deify him, for one, there's many disgruntled refugees from the discord, for two, this is a piracy website so obviously many of us have no attachment to gunsmoke (for whatever reason patrons tend to attach the shit they donate to, to their self-worth).

And as for the f95 whining, it's normal. Just do what I do, ignore it.

God and I thought Akubar was bad, I think I and a few others mentioned it earlier a few weeks back (?) Paetron really needs to impliment some sort of control on creators so they just don't pump free money without giving something in a timely manner.

There should be some type of rating system, so we can voice how good/bad creators treat their supporters.

I were also a patreon of theirs for at least 3 years.

Yeah, something like that would be incredible

It's called unsubscribing.
I really wish it could be easy as that but something that tends to happen a lot, especially on sites similar to Paetron is Buyers Remorse/Gaslighting/and a Herd Mentality - the best example for this is SunsetStriders Discord where any even feasible negativity even if it's not bad or it's minute in its stature is shunned and instantly perma banned. That is not a healthy relationship from customer to creator/provider especially in the paetron ecosystem as it were.

Something as easy as a reviewing system or creators would help elevate a large portion of issues

Wait. Hold on. Did you just refer to reddit as somewhere you'll get that "healthy balance"? That's the funniest thing I've heard in the seven years I've been on reddit. Reddit is a neutral platform with a healthy balance like SR7 is a skilled coder and a hard worker.

Another "round" of testing, eh? Why? Did the last round stop so more content could be added or is SR7 so incompetent that his attempts to fix bugs makes things so much worse that they have to restart testing? I am honestly amazed at how much testing Something Unlimited requires. Didn't SR7 specifically have an update last year that had almost no content in it because he wanted to fix the spaghetti code that was causing him problems? He recycles character art, backgrounds, progressions structure and made a reskin of a past event for Halloween that one time and the only thing he hasn't figured out how to make work is the one thing that should be shared in a game that has almost no variation in content deliver... a code database.

I don't think it's on purpose. More mismanagement type stuff, bad at predicting etc. I think they need to restructure to less content but be on time. Do testing more early on and not just do it at the end.

Yeah I can somewhat relate to that. If the release dates were never mentioned it would cause a lot less issues though looking at metrics they would have less patrons. Looking at here and the discord it's obvious people are very annoyed by it. The only way this gets solved if SR7 completely changes the way he works.

F95 to me seems like a tamer 4chan but less effeminate than reddit.
Correct, me if thos was touched upon in over 1000 pages of this thread.

Did Gunsmoke ever said what was the "robotics" part of the lab for? He planned to create some sex cyborg/gynoids? Like the redhead from Batman Beyond?
Yeah from what I remember robotic characters plus (Back when the game was going to be a Brothel simulator type game)

Mixed feeling about that system you're suggesting. I imagine it could be abused and you would up getting a bunch of 1 star and 5 star type stuff going on, fake reviews etc.

I think SR7 is a hard worker just not working "smart" though maybe I think that due us both doing the thing where you work so hard you make yourself ill.

In terms of the testing from what I understand it still does the thing where it unconnects stuff at random since it built it on early Fungus. I imagine he could at least make it somewhat better if he changed the way he worked but it might be like this until the game is built up again from scratch.
