Because this is a Ren'Py game, you can do it yourself, d/l the latest windows zip and overwrite/replace the old game folder. No one replied. I guess everyone plays on the pc/linux unlike me)

So, you prefer 5 minutes of gameplay every 2 months? Because that's what other devs do. I personally prefer when they take their time and release a big update with a good amount of content, enough for some hours of gameplay.Duude I can't wait this is gonna be so great. I hope this update will help the game get the recognition it deserves. I also hope dev will switch to a 2 month update cycle bc even if the game gets some recognition. Not many are willing to wait this long (well there are but you have to either be in an unpopuloar niche or a precursor of the genre).
ANyway, I'm rly excited abt this, see y'all the 30th

Well no I acutally always let games have multiple updates b4 playing them. It's honestly not abt what I prefer, it's abt what works and what gives the game visibility. If you see or notice a game reappearing regularly on your screen you'll feel curious abt it. You'll also think "oh this dev seems to respect his schedule and seems to be serious abt it".So, you prefer 5 minutes of gameplay every 2 months? Because that's what other devs do. Yeah I missed it but I alrdy guessed he worked fulltime that's why I said :Johan_0000 ; Maybe you missed the part of the Dev update where he says that it is quite taxing to work fulltime and also doing the AVN so the 2 monthly update is more of a wishfull thinking i guess
I may not have been clear in my way of saying it but yeah I was hoping the next update would be able to make him big since yk he's also releasing it on steam and all. Like I said I honestly like the long update format a lot but it's not what works the best in this industry. SO yeah if he makes it with the next update I think riding on it would be for the best maybe go for a part time instead of full time.Duude I can't wait this is gonna be so great. You are missing the fact that the developer of this game used to release updates every two months, but during those years, the dev barely had more than 15 patrons, so clearly that strategy didn't work.Yeah I missed it but I alrdy guessed he worked fulltime that's why I said :

Honestly though, I'd only do that if I had money saved up in case things go wrong though. But yk what they say the higher the risk, the higher you return/loss.
Oh and I appreciate you giving info

Also, the quality went up drastically after the dev stopped doing those short releases and focused on longer updates with more content and quality per release.
So, honestly, I prefer that it takes the standard long time rather than an unbelievably short time, as you claim. Because no story-driven game, like Badik or Eternum, releases content every two months, and Eternum was not popular for being a pioneer but for being a very well-done game.
Also, your mistake is comparing story-driven games of good quality with full porn games without any sort of story. Story-driven games take longer to make as they have to plant the story and craft every single render, unless they are sandbox and use the same sprites over and over.
