Is it a platformer? Is it a porn game? Is it a hack and slash? Is it a puzzle-solver like Portal?

Why is porn game in that list? Can it not be a platformer or hack and slash game if it's a porn game?

And even with your charmed foes, it is very hard to get them to have sex with you.

I actually found the opposite to be true. I had one or two enemies charmed, then tried spawning the cloud, but instead got Meridiana fucked by the charmed enemies. When that animation was done, the other enemies that were not charmed (or at least some of them) would fuck Meridiana as well.

And a plant and giant that both had animations. Don't think I've seen those in the later builds either.

I still prefer the version with the small coastal town which I believe was the 27th Feb version which now no longer available on the front page.

Doesn't the latest version have that same coastal town, though?

well, you just told me something I know but thanks, also, you should use the report link to get something updated if you actually have a link to update, which I don't.

also, haven't played the latest version so don't know if it has the same coastal town.

The post above yours talked about it being out on yiff.party. That's where I got it from and reported the OP with. Which is why the OP has now been updated. I just assumed you knew what yiff.party was and already downloaded it yourself.

nope I didn't and I tried the new one, ugh it's horrible but sadly seems dev think this is much better.

I suppose I see the sense of laying a charm cloud trap for monsters which you can have them chase you into or try and leave in their path but the problem is the controls are very picky on when they work.

Like in the screenshot with a crash shows, can see I have a cloud which green orc chased me to but no option to charm orc after it got there, seems very picky on when options show up.

Certainly, prefer old charm system but can see sense to this one, it just doesn't work.

Also had this crash twice.

It's been going downhill for a while now. Mostly faffing about with unimportant things like trying to make puzzles & shit.

Agggggges ago when it was a forest it had 2 things: Sex & Combat.

Mithos56 decided they wanted more than that, and began devolving the game into an ever constant state of production, trying to fix bugs he created because he wanted a new feature, instead of working on what he had beforehad.

Honestly, if Mithos just updated his gallery level with more and more animations/combos it would be great. I appreciate wanting to learn to make a game, but the strong suits are the monsters and animations and he/she has all but stopped making those.

Amazing, it actually got worse and it's now unplayable cause new charm system is fucked.
Also textures are now loading only when you are in certain spots so you can get stuck inside walls.
Wonder what will be broken next.

nope couldn't go out of bounds, the target bubble or whatever it called disappears soon as it hits an object now.

Also there was charm cloud in most recent build on front page, you hold E key down and a circle appears and loads up, then a cloud appears. Monster moves into it, then you click E again to charm monster and then you can give orders to a monster, either wait or follow. The sex part should be in the orders, should be "wait", "follow", "fuck me" .

After playing v10.18.2018 and v8.31.2020 i can say i really like where this game is going. But i have a few comments for it...

I really liked the charm system from the 10.18.2018 version; mashing E then casting the Seduce spell, that one seemed to work every time for me. I like the spell casting from 8.31.2020 too. The knife and gun were great also. If all those mechanics were put together i really believe it would be perfect. I haven't tried the newest version yet though, so i'll hold off any major judgement till then.

156_163_146_167 ; A porn game is entirely seperate from other genres. Why? Its quite simple:

Most games require them to be challenging to be engaging. Challenge comes from the right mix of illiciting emotions of frustration and confusion, to keep someone interested.

Whereas Porn games require them to be as simple as possible, as your focus is on masturbation, not on engagement with challenge.

Its why most games that try to be both, reward the player by failing, rather than succeeding, which doesn't make much sense from a gameplay perspective (as the point of a game is to win, in some fashion). But without having the failure sex states, people quickly get aggravated at being denied the sexual content, ragequit, and go find some other medium to assist their masturbation.

Thats why, most people are continually asking for a gallery type mode. Have the interesting gameplay, in the game, and have all the sexual content in the gallery. That way, when you play the game, you are playing to win and progress deeper, but when you are finally ready to masturbate, you stop playing, and you visit the gallery.

This game lacks a gallery and so you have to fight with the controls, the platforming, the combat, to get to the sexual content. If they separated the two apart, and put the sex scenes in a gallery and left the gameplay in the game, then people would likely enjoy this title more.

The 09-22 build, the latest one as of now, replaces that charm cloud with a charm blast (that can hit multiple enemies thankfully). Instead requiring the player to hold "Q" to charge up to at least 30% of a meter before firing off said blast. Then you have to press E to fully "seduce" them. Only lasts a minute though. Then you can hold "Q" until the bar is full to engage in the "sexual animations", albeit still buggy and requires spacing when there are too many of the same enemy. Not much else besides that, picking up frozen enemies can still softlock the controls of Meridiana or whoever the MC is.

Also, it's still possible to go out of bounds for at least half the level. Somewhat tricky once you are at the entrance of the deserted stone-built dungeon area with all the floor button puzzles, but its still possible.

Simply press shift. You don't need to aim it in order to use the teleport. If you do that in the stairs to get out of bounds and then again at the sloping tunnel to get in bounds you can skip the entire puzzle building.

Then that build is not the most recent one available. When's the last time you downloaded the game? The latest one has a projectile attack that replaces the charm cloud.

It would make things a whole lot easier if it were as simple as that to initiate the sex scenes. Although the command system is quite buggy, still. It's difficult to target the enemy you want, and often the prompt of wait or follow stays on the screen. And then the enemy will still follow you even if you've told them to wait.
But I do like the new masturbation animation that's used to initiate sex. I think if the bugs could be squashed I'd be content with the current system.
