Nothing is beyond that game considering the sheer amount of cash they've been slurping up. At least amateur one-man devs have "some" excuse.Imagine spending 5 years on just making an alpha...demo....
This is beyond star citizen
It was hyperbole yes but you get my point.Nothing is beyond that game considering the sheer amount of cash they've been slurping up. At least amateur one-man devs have "some" excuse.
I have seen project updates that mention having been busy with commisioned artwork.Little quick math here. Mithos is making $2700/mo on Patreon. Translates into $32,400/yr - Patreon fees are between 3-12% so (lets say) 12% or 3,900) that leaves him/her with $28,500. That's just above a teachers salary which is just above the poverty line in the US. We can only surmise he/she MUST be supplementing this income with a full time job to stay afloat. That ultimately means less time to spend developing. Anyone who's worked on a game knows it takes a long time. I've got 3 unfinished Unity projects, one of which dates back to Unity4.1 so... 2007 maybe? Glass houses.
Although, I do agree with the sentiments here, obsessing over the tiny intricacies of gameplay can slow things down. Lock down a single design idea and knock out the levels, scripted sequences, storyline, dialog trees, and everything else. You can ALWAYS add more content later which is always welcome.
have you tryied taking her to a date first ?i have a problem... for type number 1 or numpad 1 for sex action, nothing happens....
He is essentially getting people to pay him to learn Unreal Engine in his spare time. He had updates that had nothing to do with the game's aesthetics or its direction (like why is there a gun in the game?). Given enough time he will eventually find a Unreal developer job and abandon the project altogether. It IS good for him as the dev since he can get skills AND get paid for it. BUT it is not what people are paying him for.So given all this. I'm can't really blame him/her. Generally, r-rated games aren't the biggest ambitions the creators wanted to achieve. It's about money. And this development has done a lot of things better than others. Despite a lot seemingly being busy work. But it does make me feel really good about not having backed it nor going to in the future even though I was really tempted to. It went from a tasty yet unrefined experience to an experience that was more less refined content that got less tasty. But I totally get the safety of working on tweaking a bit of gameplay, experimenting with the UI a bit, showing some good faith by following ludicrous suggestions by the patreons for a few thousands a month rather than finishing something up and having to start something new to keep the ball rolling.
you guys still dont get how patreon works, huh? it's not "I PAY YOU SO DO SOME PORN FOR ME"He is essentially getting people to pay him to learn Unreal Engine in his spare time. Ehm, patreon literally has a tiered reward system. Either way, the premise of patreon is to financially aid people in their passionproject and get something in return.you guys still dont get how patreon works, huh? it's not "I PAY YOU SO DO SOME PORN FOR ME"
If you win you can go back to the waterfall and you can go to an area behind it.Yes fellow perverts. anyway, anyone know if theres anything more to the fireing range? it says you win and to check something, but i sure didnt figure it out.
