Sorrow: what you feel when you are past the acceptance that what it is that you feel deep void in your heart for is in another persons hands and it is totally out of your control.

This is the titular feeling which is now all emcompasing in this thread - sorrow as a deep feeling of loss and hopelessness in turning this game back on track as a hapless fan of beutiful girls.

It honestly would've helped a huge amount if people wouldn't have been so harsh as the game development went along. There unfortunately are some seriously toxic people on F95 who talk a lot of shit under the claim of "constructive criticism" but who instead just damage a developer's self-confidence and motivation. What I found most upsetting was the flock of assholes whose entitled egos were used to beat down this game and its dev. Thinking about all of them still pisses me off, even now.

You might not realise how liberating it is to just do this setting - it looks straight out of Witcher 3.
A setting right at home in any of the three witches deep forrest missions.
The in / watering hole at the edge of a cursed forrest, where Geralt would go in or around and find drunkards to fight or listen in on their babble: all sorts of gloom and doom ghost, beast or spooky stories about the children snatching old hags of the forrest.

- you could even recreate the epic fights with them for the girls - you seem to have one already done- looks intriguing enough to explore - armed with the full memory of those many witcher missions in that hags infested forrest in mind.

I really understand why people donr like the game much. By goi9ng through thge first few parts of the game, it is narrated a bit confusingly, then overwhelming you with names and persons and all kinds of meaning , but in a way that it feels like a short summary as if everybody should knoiw anything, and then you go to the next world, choose winter game is over because you cant go on fromn there all it says "thanks for playing episode 1" need to reload and go with MC and yeah , the talk with "lonly" made my head explode, I dont want to be rude, but the writing of all of this reminds me of some teenagers after some joints who think this and that is cool and meaningfull stuff by adding words and cut the dialogue and so on.

I like the optics, but man this game is just confusing and isnt doing a good job in keeping someone interested enough.

I hope the new project is going well for the author though, I could advise to let something like a proliogue going through the game to amke the player aquainted with characters and so on and then shove them down the real plot.

whats the point advertising this? You'll just abandon it like you have your last two games
If they're going to use Unreal Engine 5, then it's DOA. Their Patreon page is still under review, The subscribe star page hasn't seen an update since 2022, and their Reddit page was banned a while ago. Take what they say with a grain of salt and take that grain of salt and throw it out.

Why abandoned?
Doesn't mean it's actually abandoned, F95 declares games that haven't been updated in a certain amount of time while the dev is also pretty radio silent.
The game is complete you mean. Only dev is gone
No, it's abandoned, unless the dev surprises everyone and comes back to it at some point. There is a whole history with this game, but to be short: After working on Sorrow for awhile and even redoing it, the dev decided to switch gears to another game, The Curse of Joy, in an effort to get traction (trying to see if the other game would catch more momentum than this one did). That became a whole issue when the dev got a new writer who basically screwed him over — LustFight had said no NTR and then the new writer added it anyway, causing huge outrage.

A combination of bad things — toxic people on this site, that new writer having effectively sabotaged LF's other game, and lack of real momentum to make a living off of this all — caused LustFight to step away from game development altogether. I don't know if it's a permanent stepping away; in fact, I'll gladly jump at the chance to play LF's next game if he does another. But while I'd love to see it, I doubt this game (or the other, for that matter) will go any further. :(
