I loaded your save and looked around. I checked how far you had gotten and checked your base. Build a Warehouse there. I went back to Iltari Station, cycled through the day, then slept. The next morning T'Ris went to Nav Class. By any chance were you not docked in Iltari Station when trying? Or, are you using a mod to play? SJX does not like some mods.

I am not using mods. How do you build a warehouse?

Everytime i try I am docked. Its still not working for me.

I fixed it bydeleting and downloading the game again and use the save i gave you...

if you want to go to the krell then give everyone on board a uniform and then try to fly there they will put it on themself

i tried that but it wouldnt let me cause i still have (get your crew ready)quest and ive made sure everyone have 6 or more exh but t`ris hasnt come to me in the morning telling me i and ready am i missing somthing?

For the life of me I can't get offered a higher engine than the first one (new game) and thus I'm stuck at just doing the mining jobs and can't procceed to the anomaly.
is there some sort of requirement before those start popping up?

The first engine will get you everywhere. It just needs a full set of parts. You can get the additional AI chips from some battles and from scrapping salvage (only until you have 3).

I had this issue when I first started playing: I didn't realise that you could replace the "wire" part with other components - you want to check / refresh the station sales until you can add x3 parts to each line of that section (farming AI cores comes later, apart from a few RNG event ones you can get ultra-early). So: 12 parts for EACH subsystem (engine, weapons, shield etc).

Once you've done that, your engine will be 75%, allowing you to access all of the early content.

I'm glad it is working. For the Warehouse, go to the Base. Click on Expand then chose Warehouse. That will give you 900t of storage.

The Multiverse Pod is supposed to automatically work in the new game, right? Just tried it and my stuff just isn't showing up.

OK, this is a bit weird. I had a quick playthrough to get used to the UI and everything seemed to be going OK -- I got a few crew members, had trouble acquiring AI Cores, but whatever.

I restarted the game and am playing through again. But, I'm up to Day 24 and haven't managed to acquire the electronics/robotics specialist (Nimhe?). I only have 3 active quests: special finish, find a way home, and blocked maintenance door. The blocked maintenance door quest references the Argus device as if I already have it.

I've searched everywhere I can think of. I've chatted with everyone I can find: T'ris, Veronica, Shady (no chat option), dancer at bar (no chat option), Nimhe herself (but I always put my foot in my mouth by asking if she worked at the closed facility), and Audra. I can't find any dialogue anywhere suggesting I should hire someone other than the robot suggesting I hire a pirate engineer (which I can't because I don't get access to the pirate base until hiring Nimhe...).

Obviously, I've missed a basic trigger somewhere. Any hints?

probably that job list screenshot is made while being on another system where those are legal, we all know that aren't on iltary, thats why shady is getting rich with (apart from selling to you overpriced stuff).. and later on veronica have some special jobs about shady's stuff
