Man, I rally want to like this game, but it's too much of a grind for me. And it's a sham because there's a hell of a lot to like about it.

I am always looking to improve user guidance:
  1. It could be that you just don't like the game concept as its designed, which is fine. Not everyone likes the same kinds of games

  2. It could also be, and thats what I would be interested to know, that you somehow maneuvered yourself into a corner and are "trapped" in some weird grind loop that shouldn't "be there" (there was a player once who thought he had to earn the money for the ship equipment with 100$ gambles at the space cantina...)
So anyway, if it is some misunderstanding like 2.) I would like to hear about it. That could be addressed by a more stringent user guidance in the tutorial phase.

Where do you find/buy example bot shells for Nimhe to learn crafting? Have hundreds of bot parts and lots of crates.

You find them mostly as loot in the Krell system or later (and better ones) in Quthor. For example killing 3 Krell lashers in the Krell space usually yields one or two bot containers you can open and they have random shells you can remove in the laboratory. Quthor fights can also give you bots with random elite parts.

So I wanted to ask:

How do you transfer your bots from an old version to a newer version?

Am having quite the difficult time figuring out how to make Nimhe making another bot skin, like do you do it?

I have several bot container in the cargo but I give them to her through Cargo Voucher option she says she does not need them, also I tried to change her task in the morning to craft J part and she also does not accept the J parts, could someone give me an in depth explanation cause its not working.

sorry i have a small querstion. i dont know if its intentional or a bug. it seems that some bot traits (like perverted as excample) limit the max skill of the rolled bot like one with the trait perverted anal is maxed at 120.
but now comes the strange thing rolled a bot with hig skill it had anal stat at 150 then rerolled the traits to get a good combination
(got perverted submissive and pet) the anal stat stays at 150. but when equipped wit a g or p shell and then removing it sthe skill reverts back to 120.

this behaviour seems to happen with all traits tha affect certain skills. this occured to me while trying to roll a bot with high skills as high as possible and with a good trait/like kombo to boost the price.

Honestly, everything just happens too slowly for me, even compared to the Princess and the Tower, and I was using console commands for god's sake. Like when you need to get all the stuff for Krogneath. It's "go to Arellarti, sleep, wake up, fight dudes and/or buy bio stuff from shop, sleep, wake up, go to Illtari, sleep again, wake up, THEN you can sell your stuff to Krogneath and do it all over again. It's also a huge bummer that there's no real way to rewatch many scenes.

So yeah, it's all me, and I'm just some random asshole on the internet. I just thought it sucked that the game didn't click with me because I really like your character designs and for the most part, between the guide and the in game hints, it's pretty clear what you have to do to progress. Like I said, there's a lot to like.

This is a great game! I love all the themes and the way this game was made, if I got my wish I would want you to expand all the characters before the end of the game! Keep it up mate

  • Bot Transfer: Package them into a stasis pod and from cargo move them either to your warehouse or move them from cargo to the Pod (see walkthrough: Multiverse Pod)
  • Shell crafting: Nimhe (a) needs to have attained the Shell Tier TEC level, (b) is accepting BOT or Cargo Vouchers (see walkthrough) and (c) must have received one such shell from you to study

hey guys i need help i got the quest "get your crew ready" and i gave the krell unitform to everyone and they all have exh 6 and ive tried to just go the next sector but it would let me ive tried everything and ive been stuck for ages
plz any help would be awesome
i finaly found out what it was lol i forgot to give one to v smh im so dumb but thanks for all the help
I got stuck the exact same way.

I think the confusion comes from the fact that Vee say at some point she doesn't require clothing at all because she generates them (or something like that).
Add this to the fact she refuse previous uniforms and you logically conclude she won't wear any kind of uniform.
At least that's how it went for me.

But yeah for all future ppl getting stuck to access Arellarti in krell space, you need to hand the Krell crew uniform to T'Ris, Nimhe, Khelara AND Vee to complete the "Get Your Crew Ready" quest.

She says she doesn't require clothing because that text is left from ages ago when she was actually walking naked and it was her default uniform. So obviously she wouldn't need any of the racy or revealing type uniforms. Good times, it's a pity she no longer has that don't care at all attitude. Never understood why it was changed. But even then she still had to be given a leash for the Krell system though.

I haven't played the latest version, but I bounced off ship combat. It felt like a cash sink, with guns not doing enough damage and torpedos costing more than I earned from the mission.

Maybe you're not playing tactically?

Except at certain point during the midgame, I haven't feel the need of using torps on any combat. During the first half of the game, guns are enough if you're not too greedy, and at the endgame you get cloak and shield stealing guns which are enough to tackle enemies. Only during certain section in the mid-game I felt the need to use torps to advance, and at that point this was not a problem, between the looted torpedoes in the wreckages and the fact that I was doing enough money with missions and passively with Arcade Bots.

The idea during the combats in the two first systems is just to fire your guns up to the point of having only 1 Action Point left, and then moving behind asteroids so you cannot be targeted, then manually finish your turn. Movement is free during your turn, so you can experiment and lure enemies to positions in which they wont fire you back on their round (only on their turn movement does cost them actions, so if they have to move to get Line of Sight on you, they don't have Action Points to shoot you ;) ).

Open your inventory, select the coktail, and use it on the glass that is on your desk, on the Captain Quarters of the ship.
