Does any 1 else have the bug where when you get in combat and try to move using ASWD your ship dosent move and you just take screen shots? it's super annoying. any fixes?

Wait for 3 seconds and move again... often happens when other RenPy Events are interferring with movement as "s" is a hotkey for screenshots

Old saves are not compatible.

2.00.0 is the first version that the developer promises will be compatible going forward.

But you never have to replay from the start. Start always allows you to select for far along you want to start.

(1) Saves from 2.00 have been compatible with 2.05, as long as you followed directions, so no, he didn't "lie."

(2) Which version of 2.10 are you using? The older, buggy, virus-ridden one uploaded here by a disgruntled Patreon customer trying to sabotage the release, or the current Patreon build that we'll be getting tomorrow?

(3) There is a "safe zone" for saving games for export to a later version. That safe zone SAYS its a safe zone on the screen, but usually occurs around the "end of day" recap. It doesn't matter WHERE you are, it matters WHEN you are.

2. That's the buggy and virus ridden one. Scan your computer for viruses and wait until tomorrow, when the real update is posted.

3. It should be possible to go back to the old version, advance to end of day, and save it in the proper spot without too much of an issue. If you no longer have a copy of the older version, itch.io still has 2.00 for download at

I have been here from V1.20, and started all over from day 1 each version, and it alwasy been fun. I recommand you to wait for tomorrow, no matter how tempting it is to download the buggy version, and then start all over again, its fun either way

I played through the game yesterday from beginning until the end and did only find a few small non gamebreaking bugs, it might be better to wait for the public version, but it's not as buggy as some people claim here...

(In case somebody wonder's I checked the game's renpy files against the one from the official SDK, did run two malware scans through the files with different tools and monitored my internet connection while playing and the game didn't try to download anything and didn't find anything suspicious...)

Probably a bit of hyperbole but if you'd bothered to read the last few pages it would be apparent to you. Someone, not the dev, posted a leaked Alpha build in order to "pwn" the dev because he got banned from the Discord/Patreon whatever. The various file hosts set off people's AV's either through false positive or actual malice.

Check up-thread. I haven't downloaded it, myself, but shortly after upload, there were several people posting that it was setting off their virus scanners. It may be the downloader, and not the game itself, which was virus-ridden, however, because it doesn't seem to have hit everyone.

The guy who "leaked" the (older) Patreon version was the one trying to sabotage things, not me.

How are they hurting the Devs rep, explain while i stare at your IP address. the release in question is a questionable one at that it was done by someone else and not the dev. Your very sus as one of the culprits in defending them, that or your a confused person who jumped into the middle of something withought knowing who you were defending.

Yes, I read the last few pages, but I think a discussion if pirating of an alpha on a forum where pirating is the daily business goes too far in off-topic territory to discuss it here. (probably 80-90% of the devs don't post their game on this site and get provided by leakers, why would this game be different)

Yeah but why you don't write something like "I heard some people got some malware/virus warnings while downloading from the provided Filehosters" instead of "virus ridden" if you didn't put any effort in actually checking yourself?
If now or in two months someone reads your "virus ridden" claim and they decide not to download the game because of it, or even worse claim themselves it's virus ridden it definetly is a bad thing... ^^

Because the version that was uploaded was DELIBERATE SABOTAGE of the Dev, and the last time this happened he nearly threatened to stop developing the game at all, so I'm pissed off. And I think I've been pretty clear, whenever it came up, that it was THIS ONE SPECIFIC VERSION, that THIS ONE GUY (not the Dev) ATTEMPTING TO SABOTAGE THE DEV uploaded, that was the problem. And, at the point I made the post, I wasn't sure if it was the downloader that had the viruses, or the ONE SPECIFIC VERSION that the guy uploaded that had the viruses, and I didn't want to risk it to be sure.

Yeah; that's fair. Hyperbole all round. Hopefully a release version gets posted here (it probably will, we are pirates after all) and the chatter dies down to "How do I get the porn?" or "When is Pony Girl Vee coming?" Rather than "Oh fuck muh viruses."

Nope, he didn't lie. I loaded my last save from the safe zone just fine.



Seems pretty clear to me.

And since you can still start a new game at various points in the overall game arc, I'm not sure what you're complaining about.

Nope. The issue is a typographical error in game/700_minigames/780_combat.rpy It's error whether you were playing an old save or a brand new game you got to the same point.

The dev put two plus signs when only one was needed. That has nothing to do with saves. A fixed file was uploaded almost as quickly as it was found.

There is a bug when you face the "zealot guards" and go to collect their loot from the destroyed ship.
