My main quest says to install the drill laser but when I go to the ship to install the drill it is not in my inventory, and I do not know how to complete the adjective. Can someone please tell me how to complete it? where is the laser that they give the mc at I can't find it .

You have to use the terminal in the cargo bay to install modules on the ship. When you activate the terminal, there should be tabs across the top, with things like ware, crate, subsys, mod, and pod.

The one you want to click on should be subsys and in that menu the drill should show up and there should be a button to install it.

Mouse overlay was not ready (screen timing issue).
Should be a rare incident, will only happen if the mouse cursor is over an incompatible tooltip activated section when switching screens with "P"
Will "harden" tooltip checking code in that instance.

this universe has so much potential its crazy

I have to say I did not even know Rebel Galaxy (just looked it up).

I based it a bit on Elite (oldschool...) and also GoF, which is a kind of modern Elite game.
The sexbot thing was a kind of pivot, as this module was originally a slave trainer module in case you would chose to go down the pirate road. Needless to say this wouldn't see the light of days on any platform...

But I am quite happy I changed it to a bot scenario as the AddOn system is much more flexible than a simple accessory based system.

If the MC is a stranded human that arrived in this new galaxy by an extraordinary accident, and Seraphine is in a situation similar to mine, how come Moira is also a human, especially if she is a "renowned medical researcher" in charge of a lab (which implies that she has a background in THIS galaxy, going to a university, then starting a career in medical research, climbing the ladder, etc)? Exactly how many humans find themselves whooshed daily to this faraway alien galaxy?

When a developer wants to make sure something is kept an impenetrable secret, he/she puts it in the game's intro and tutorial dialogues, because that will make sure no one will read it. Ever.

Heh, i admit, after playing for a full week already, i don`t remember the intro or the tutorial dialogues, i`ll re-watch them, out of curiosity.
But i have another question, still about logic. Why make 2 posters but only 1 place to display them in the whole ship(i`m talking about the ones in the Engine Room)? Why not make it so each poster had it`s own display spot? It`s a pity one has to always be hidden away in the inventory instead of being fully visible and constantly admired . Afterall, this IS the purpose of a poster.

To make the posters exchangeable was just a design decision which saved me from having to create a bunch of other active elements. I could integrate the new item into the poster slot.
I thought it would be a good idea to have some kind of choice. I might make another one or two posters as options...

A nice idea would be to make more posters that the MC could gift to the other girls on the ship and they would display them like Nimhe did with the ponygirl poster. Each girl could have a theme, like Nimhe. Moira could have cowgirl posters, Seraphine could have slutty princess posters(just for variety so she won`t have ponygirl posters like Nimhe), Khelara could have naked fitness posters or shibari bondage stuff, T'Ris could have naked soldiergirl posters. I`m not sure what Vee`s theme should be, maybe sexy naked Borg girl posters?

Also, a question and maybe a bug?
When looking in the Bot Analyzer, what do "Talents" refer to?
When i set Nimhe to craft luxury shells, the next day she defaults to relaxing instead of keeping her job of crafting luxury shells.

So I seem to be having some trouble advancing Nimhe. She mentioned selling bots through orders, but I haven't seen any orders in the computer. I've sold a lot of bots just through the market but that doesn't seem to be triggering the next phase.

For anyone struggling with console commands, here are a few:

1. Set the amount of money you have
GAME.money = X

2. Control the hour of the day
GAME.hour = X

3. Modify installed systems

I had just answered this for another person. You need to use the terminal in the cargo bay to install any equipment. Access the terminal and click on the tab that says subsys and there should be a button to install the laser.
You use the same process for any equipment that you purchase for the ship, such as shields, weapons, or engines.

I think you have to set your bots to work in the sex arcade and then let them earn some cash OR it might be that you need to make a bot with an IQ greater than 140 and then try to use it in the sex arcade. So, pimp your bots out and keep making better bots to pimp out and sell.
I can't remember exactly what it is that triggers the next step with her. It might be that you need to earn something like 1 million credits by pimping out bots, making higher IQ bots, or just selling enough bots to earn X amount of cash.

If nothing else, press P to bring up your quest/mission tracker and see if there are any hints for advancing with Nimhe.
