I mean even the Class cubes have better classes on Military Grade (like Volorian Concubine or Hive Queen), but yeah the preference cubes don't seem to matter

In this post I wanna yap about what I found out about basic bots and bot parts while minmaxing. I will be talking mainly about Elite bot parts, as they are the highest tier and thus most interesting to me. Some of this info may be useful for new players.
I want to begin by saying that I strongly encourage savescumming for some parts, later I will explain which ones and why.
TL;DR Only natural IQ (w/o bonuses from attitude or traits) and skills are important, everything else can fixed with cubes.

The 3rd image shows the problem you are having.
You need to fill all 6 slots on the shield with cloaking modules. The Biolab mission will not trigger if you do not have all 6 slots in your voron shield filled with cloaking modules.

But an L shell does not:
Because it drops my traits combo from 12.46 down to 4.2, making my multiplier with the Galaxina shell 247.88 and without 734.86, since the L shell doesn't change my traits, that multiplier stays and the shell adds 808,500 then the multiplier hits

Wow! Impressive! I didn't know you can get this high traits combo, how did you find out about this? Also did you use traits cube to get them? Also can u tell me what are those perv amps, how much bonus do they add? I thought I am grinding, but you are the man!

I've been playing this game since it first appeared and I've done a fair amount of grinding. (Thankfully the dev doesn't turn off the scroll wheel backing up through the randoms).
I'm also a programmer by trade so I looked into the code and found the code that listed the bonuses for the various traits.
So while I *can* use the traits cube and keep rolling back until I get the combinations I want for all these things I just ended up learning the console commands to generate them.
The Perv amps are all 3 elite and +69, so, +345

I am not a Programmer, but started a cheat sheet for Console Commands related to the Bots some time ago. It is the part of the game I enjoy the most.
I know how to spawn Elite mods, but do not know how to get specific values on them. Would love to compare notes if you've figured that out. If you're just mass spawning mods and keeping the best ones, then I'm already there. Lol.
I don't have the code for the new Galaxina shell however. What variant is that one? (ie: L or F, etc).
Well that explains a lot. On this version of the game (2.10_012c) Loyal attitude is unobtainable, at least not naturally. The only white tier attitude available is indifferent, and green compliant. I checked military elite and precursor elite cortexes. So rip 2.5 multiplier and no escape risk.
As for traits, I rolled like 200 cubes and I did not get desired combination. I have to roll some more, but I feel like combination of traits is not random, but rather predetermined, and the only random thing is which one of the combinations you get. Still early to make any conclusions, I'll roll at least 100 more.
Perv amps... I hate perv amps, the highest one I got was +48, so I maybe will check later... I'll be satisfied even if i get +61.

For attribute cubes

The shell I used that gave value without changing traits is the L shell.

I'm not sure whether +69 is possible in the current (2.10) code base, it may have changed downward since I first figured out the console commands.

Thank you for the game! Can we get an QOL that provides a boost to Stress and Mood recovery? Just enough so that when combined with Moira's Crew Wellness, we can stay in Krell uniform/space indefinitely. Some suggestions: Rec Facilities Investment, Boosted HoloNet Bandwidth via Nimhe building an Argus Mk3 (for better "Personal Entertainment"). Don't even care if it's crazy expensive, just something that makes it less annoying.
Sadly this combination of traits is not possible, well not naturally...

Anyway as You know there's 3 slots for 3 traits, and in 3rd slot there can be only 5 different traits (active, explorative, calculating, pet, playful). This means that this "perfect" roll is impossible.
This also means that rerolling with cubes, but also the roll from precursor cortex is not true random. I am not sure if this is a bug, or yv0751 did this intentionally, knowing how powerful of a multiplier it is.
good to hear that you like the game.
I was under the impression that with the entertainment investment and a sufficient training level, wellness should be more than enough to fully compensate.
Will have a look into it

Hey yv0751, I'm having a bizarre issue with the Multiverse pod in v2.10_012c. I'd made a multiverse pod and multiverse warehouse file on one computer, then transferred it to my new one. Made a new SJX save to generate the save files in the right locations, then put the multiverse files in Users/NAME/appdata/roaming/RenPy/SpaceJourneyX-1670222929.
Here's the weird part. That save I started before moving the multiverse files into place? When I go to access the multiverse pod, it's flat empty. The pod shows up, but nothing in it. See attached screenshot.
But if I make a new save, with the Multiverse files already in place prior, and they CAN see the contents of the Multiverse pod.
Just wanted to let you know, or anyone running into this one. Seems likely a really fringe issue, and all it takes to fix is make a new save only AFTER moving the Multiverse files.

this is as designed.
The Multiverse pod and the warehouse are read in at the beginning of a new game creation. Any changes you make from which ever other running game to the Multiverse part after that will not be reflected in any game already started.
Reason for that is that I wanted to avoid duplication loops inside a running game.
Can Nimhe craft gen-3 ELITE Type-P shell? Highest i can get is gen-3 MG, im asking because i can craft or buy all shells in gen-3 ELITE except Type-P.
