Man, I was really enjoying this game through sector 1, but the combat once seeker ships show up in sector 2 is just absolutely infuriating. Like they were specifically designed to counter the use of asteroids, you know, the only thing strategic about the minigame.

Really feels like the seeker concept should have been kept for the precursor wrecks as an optional challenge.

Another cosmetic issue:

When Khelara is assigned to ship repair, every morning I'm told she's reached her current Tech Level (currently 20, but it was happening at 19 as well).

Really feels like the seeker concept should have been kept for the precursor wrecks as an optional challenge.
The success strategy shifts from this level onwards (unless you have god tier gear).

You now need to weigh whether absorbing seekers and going for main ships is better or avoiding to be hit at all cost (which usually ends badly).
Generally with
- 6 AP (MkII Engine)
- a load of BFT torps
- Khelara set to reload
- clever kiting/bunching mobs up

you should be fine with Quantum (L3) normal gear only

YV, one thing you could do to make it more clear that torpedo reload is a necessary job, is to reduce the daily obligation of repairing the ship, which is usually what I used Khelara for. I know its the source of TRis's 'favor points' but since it happens every day, you usually end up with hundreds of those, and its so annoying to do it yourself every day.

The cleanest solution is an investment that repairs the ship every day.

The enemy Ships should have limited drone spawn in this game. Even with 6 AP , you can easily get overwhelmed and destroyed by the Abyssal Ships if they spawn in group of 3 or more even with the best possible equipment. And the main gun is too weak. While in combat 1vs1 it is more than enough, with 2/3 enemies with endless drone spawn, your only option is to rely on consumable torpedoes and bombs to brute force the encounter.

As for the ground combat, do the characters get more abilities in future updates? Because on characters turn, first they get a target choice and weapon attack or skill, after using that, they get another move that has only Defend to use.

Also when leveling in ground combat,characters should either have a choice to allocate points stats of their choice by 3 points or so, or upon level all stats should increase by 1 plus have a choice to assign an extra 1 stat point of your choice. The way it is right now, everyone will focus on STR mainly because the equipment equips, only need that.

The ground combat unit second turn currently has stealth, defend or taunt. I am thinking about what extension would make sense. First I wanted to get the ground combat working as such, it was more complex than i thought.

With top-end equipment, one can break the ambush in NX-010 without using a single missile or depleting your shield. The Armageddon bomb looks pretty in my launcher, but I'm never going to fire it. No other combat compares in difficulty.

There also needs to be a way to assign standard load-out to your crew for away missions, right now only armory bots can have pre-selected gear unless I am missing something.

That feature is implemented in version 2.40. It is already working and available in a test version for some testers

I have completely missed the pole in the mess room. It's on the very edge of the screen, and it's hard to notice.
Doctor's quest implies that pole dancing exists, but I could not figure out where the pole is.

It's a shame there's no full walkthrough... I mean not just the main game branch, but all the expansions as well... and they're the most interesting....

Well if you read the walkthrough, you'd know it's all there... new content branches from main, so it integrates well.

how do i raise Moira Sub from 4 to 5 as i cannot complete the milking quest as it says i need sub 5 but it wont go up from sub 4 no matter how many times i milk her, is this an ongoing bug?

Poledancing (the one in the lounge) takes her SUB to that point and more.
