I've had one piece of Eternium sitting in my cargo for a LONG time.
Is it worth holding or should I just sell it. I mean it's worth just over 1mill credits.
There is a quest with Space Bimbo Barbie that requires 1 piece of Eternium to complete it.
Late in the game you can find a Replicator machine and the Eternium is used as a component in fabricating Galaxina shells.

If you are broke as fuck and desperate for cash, just sell it. 1 million credits can do wonders for upgrading your ship or stocking up on torpedoes.
If you are flush with cash and have banked tens or hundreds of millions of credits, keep it in your warehouse or just sell it. You really won't notice 1 million credits once you are rolling in cash.

Krogneath, at the Pirate base, usually stocks a handful of Eternium every day, so you can just purchase them as you need them.

How in the hell do I increase my Tech skill past 10?
I believe that you need to upgrade your bot parts to go from 10 to 15 skill.

So, take all of your Gen 1 bot parts and upgrade them to Gen 2 and take your Gen 2 parts and upgrade them to Gen 3.

Once you reach Tech skill 15, you can increase your skill to 20 by QCing your bots and after that you need to QC bots with shells. You cannot QC ever shell (Galaxina and the Infiltrator are two examples of shells you cannot QC)
You can reuse a shell to QC other bots, so you can QC 20 bots with the same Nilurian or Voronian shell.

one thing with making the bots...how do I store them properly, had one break out (was told it did some damage but I couldn't find anything wrong except the bot was gone)

You need immobilizers. It is a module that you can add to any bot, it takes up one of the 5 slots that you can use to boost stats like vaginal or anal, but it is worth it to keep your bot from escaping.

Check your ship modules in the Engineering room, it is likely that the bot destroyed some of the components or it might have just deleted (damaged) some of your cargo.
If a bot escapes while it is at the Sex Arcade, it will state that the bot escaped and damaged things, which translates into you being charged credits to pay for damages.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The higher the IQ of the bot, the greater the chance is that they will escape.
If they have attitudes such as Compliant or indifferent, their chance to escape will not be as high as compared to a bot with Devious or Rebellious attitudes.
Your goal should be to get that escape chance to 0%, anything higher and there will always be a chance that they will escape.

I did check the board in the engine room and didn't see anything wrong, so I guess it was cargo that got hit...I guess.
immobilizers....ok, will check next time, that's only the third I made and I'm still baffled by the whole procedure.....the 'auto-train' doesn't seem to do anything that I can see so I just go in and do it myself

The autotrain option is an overnight thing, rather than immediate; set a bot (or multiple bots) to autotrain, and their stats will go up a bit each night until they hit their caps. It seems to basically be a way to train your bots at the cost of time, rather than material resources like the energy modules.

ok, thanks, didn't know that - don't remember it being explained in the game, but them I may have skipped it

To add to what Jclarke said: you should have a Hyper Training option when you are in the bot creator screen.

I cannot remember if it is tied to any particular quest or tech skill level, but, what it does is give you a massive boost each time you click the Train button on one of a bot's sex stats. It requires you to have Promethium and energy modules and when you activate the hyper train, it consumes 1 piece of Promethium and it gives you 20 clicks that boosts a bot's skill by 50 points per click, instead of by 10 or so.

The number of training clicks that you can perform with Hyper Training does not expire, so if you use 14 clicks to train a bot, you will still have 6 more that you can apply to any other bot whenever you use it again even if it is several days later.

I am not sure if you noticed this or not, but if a bot has a skill that does NOT have a red heart beside it (or has a sad face), it will be trained up at a slower rate than if they love an action. It is a pretty significant hit, the skill goes up by 3 or 4 points instead of 10 or so, so, when you are making your bots, try loading skill modules that will give them the most red hearts (loves that particular action) since they will train up faster AND it adds value and income that they can earn.

That's what I'm doing, but I don't have a text option. Is it possible that it's because I have few messages?
I asked and got an answer. At the top of this page, in the game image on the right side is a set of stars. Click on them to set your rating and you can leave a review.

So, AI cores. Is there a limit to how many you can have or the places you can find them?
I've done four bounties recently and not a single AI core found

No limits (at least, none I've found), just RNG. The loot from (almost) any hostile encounter CAN have an AI Core in it, but not every one will. You can also get them in the precursor ruins of each system, certain random salvage encounters, and probably another place or two.

Only limit is the amount of cargo space you want them to consume.

Assuming you're still in Ilteri, bounties will only drop AI core for level 3 and above and they are not guaranteed. It's not an issue in other systems because the bounties don't get that low elsewhere.
