would anyone mind explaining diference is between

The first, the black purple one, can turn all seekers in its area of effect zone back against your enemies.
The second one has enhanced power in its centre and AOE area. It is more brute force, a bit like Hellhammer Cannon.

Try to use it on something in the engine room, you can use it to put up some decoration in the engine room.
after you have unlocked the armoury there will be a random news report when you are in the first star system.
After you have heard that news about tenaris the quest will kickoff
I already tried everything in the engine room and I can't put it anywhere. I already have a poster in the engine room, so I don't know where else I can put it.
Need help here, how do you increase the doctor exh to 8? In my game moira exh is 6, and she keep refusing to go out in the krell station, and her sub is already at 2, any pointer?
Replace the poster that is currently pinned up with the one that you want to pin up. As far as I remember, you can only have 1 poster at a time pinned up in the Engineering room.

I believe the answer you seek is in the walkthrough on page 29. You likely need to find a Krell Security patrol to get her uniform permissions revoked. This will force her to wear Krell slave collar, and thus her Exh will increase... etc.

Some malfunctions reports:
- Just as with the Voronian Vortex crates, the "open all" option doesn't work on the new weapon creates.
- T'ris will consider she nontheless "rendered you a favour today" if she's been asked with Vee in the room and the outcome just been "better try that later when we're alone". Meaning, even though nothing actually happened, she can't be asked again later on the same day after Vee left.

Here's a feature request: It's now possible (been possible for the last update or two) to specify which bot shells Nimhe is supposed to make. Can we have a similar option to tell T'Ris which types of missiles to buy? The way it works, now, I feel that task is pointless except for raising T'Ris' tech score, because she's always buying missiles I'll never use and just have to sell right back to the shop.

I am so unbelievably lost. I just got to the precursor junkyard but I cant go in because no weapons or shields, so I have to go to Tenaris but I cant because no bot, but I can't make a bot because no bot lab, and nowhere does the game or the walkthrough tell me how to unlock the bot lab they just assume you have it unlocked. I have Niamhe on my ship but nothing is happening i already messed with her handcuffs but still nothing. Does anyone know what to do here, and please give me step by step instructions thank you in advance.
My guess is you haven't found the thing you need to click that unlocks it all. In the cargo deck, up and to the right of your cargo terminal, there are a pair of what look like cabinet doors. Click on them, you'll receive a small fetch quest (you just buy some things from the station) that will unlock the second (and third) floor. Once the lower decks are unlocked, you should explore them and see what all is down there. One room will be the bot lab. Game tells you what to do from there.
