Not true. The early game weakness of a PC in a game is not analogous to D/S.
D/S would be equivalent to something like a morality system, paragon/renegade, NE/LG etc.
Trying to equate D/S into mechanics of gameplay would most closely match with winning and losing a fight, like how CoC type games do - you can lose your way through the game. Sub content for losing fights, dom content for winning them.
Right Dom/Sub is not about the win losses. My point was to express it in means that you may understand as it my other explanations didn't quite hit the mark, as intended. As
perles75 also specified, there is no true distinction within the game, yet, that the MC is a definite sub. Perhaps other characters trying to break him in as one. Which is your decisions on whether or not you allow such. In my play-through, he is a wildman dom leaning switch due to his growth from the prison cell scene. Remember, its only been a day prior to the latest update, (sorry
RanliLabz, I haven't had a chance to run the latest bc of other updates I was waiting on *hides*.)
My point was to express the "GROWTH" part of the MC's development in the reference of dom/sub as you express. As well as, the need to necro the topic thats been discussed or mentioned multiple times. In such, as to the most successful games, yes the MC of all RPGs can win ... in time. In all of them, though, the major adversary or the stories climactic end is never at hand from the beginning. The worse the character starts as, usually the more dynamic the character becomes towards the climax(es) of the story. He has to discover his sexuality, lifestyle, etc.. as before he never had any experience with a possible exception to CIS or Cole if you chose the route that has those scenes, and even then it was happenstance and just tapped at the door of his sexual psyche. Just the constant bombardment of it being wrong by pretty much the leader of the colony. So prior to the beginning of the story, he wouldn't understand anything about a dom/sub sexual experience.
In reference to him being forced into things, remember its a parody, which tends to mean take it with a comedic misadventure mentality. Then, as it grows, let the MC grow with it. Decide as you would and grow the character how you want it.
This is a 3DCG Sci-Fi porn-comedy with insanely lewd content from start to finish. There are a huge number of kinks in SpaceCorps - including LGBT content - but they are all entirely optional for players. Basically, you can play a monstergirl game, a femdom game, a gay game, an abstinence game... and many more. It's 100% up to you!
Taken from the Dev Notes:
Porn-Comedy: pretty much what I mentioned with Parody
Insanely Lewd Content: Depending on your personal views and options you chose will be viewable
Femdom: It has been mentioned
Abstinence: Allowing for avoiding any scenes that doesn't float your boat
In the tags, it does also mention Female Domination, Male Domination, Rape, and Parody. Yes, all 4 of them are experienceable without bad ends. All put into the MC's sexual growth.
The first sentence of the game descript is as follows:
You are a naive young farmhand from Ganymede, thrust into an exciting (and raunchy) galaxy when you're conscripted into SpaceCorps.
Young and Naive thrown into a raunchy conscription in definitely not going to be thought of as the MC being sexually dominate from the get go. Real Life military doesn't start as an enlisted Major or General. It starts you as a private and basically everyone's bitch that outranks you. You enforce dominance to them, you are either disciplined to show you your place or handed your discharge (basically the bad end to military life). As a Sexualized Parody to Military, it pretty much is right on par for the course.
