i think its less "entitled", more, we really want da ting.
i mean, no, we couldn't really blame them for dropping a unpaid for hobby.
but we'd still be disappointed as hell about it.
he doesn't "owe" us a game... but we do want the game. potentially enough to even pay for it. hell, plenty of porn game content creators get monthly patreon payments just for updates a month early.

Ureil said that SpaceEscape is done, sadly. He'll finish some loose ends, but it's a failure 
I followed him for decades because of that game, all his other projects are sadly of little interests to me - I give no hoots about Five Night's at Freddies and I don't get why this is so pupular, I'm not interested in Futa Mermaids. So it's a sad day for me, but more power to the rest of you.
Technically he says at some point he'll remake non-chibi original SpaceEscape, but come on. I am so sorry to say this, but he won't.

I don't know, that was one of his later obsessions. Probably the Chibi Boss and some independent minigame.
Not surprising really. Disappointing for sure but mans been working and reworking this game for a very long time. With little to no progress due to remaking it every time at around the same point.
Download the Ublock origin browser extension, deals with all that nonsense.
Update through the dev's blog, he's currenting fixing bugs for the game before he releases the next version.

Just because he makes a post on the itch page for chibi edition doesn't mean that hes actively working on it and an update is around the corner. He's been chipping away at the slime animations for months. Not to mention you ignore the fact that hes got 2 other games hes been working on, some mermaid platformer and a fnaf clone, and has admitted for once they bit off more than they can chew. They made posts way back in april on their blog about using those two games just mentioned to learn more about godot because they realized they had no fucking idea what they were doing and would just make another spaghetti code mess if they didn't learn properly with experimentation.
The next build could come out tonight. It could come out a week from now. We might not get one for 6+ months. One thing I know for certain is that urielman has split his efforts considerably and when the original space escape was his only big project he couldn't pull it off despite spending over 10 years chipping away at it. Get excited if you want but you're just gonna be disappointed the longer it takes.

I just happened to stumble upon this game while looking for something cute. Normally slimes and dogs and animal ears are not even anything I like but this style has a certain charm. I thought it might have something to do with the primary colors since I am absolutely a fan of those, but the short of it is that I absolutely love this art and game and everything sofar and would love to see more.
I even went as far as to read most if not all of the recent activity on this thread and the devlog when I found this sketch in a devlog somewhere.
Yup, love this too, it is not just the colors.
Now I know that there have been 4 devlog updates in the last 30 days and how that is a lot more than there 'usually' seem to be so with any luck there is going to be an update for all of us to enjoy somewhere soon. Mayhaps even with a gallery.
Also I guess if I read the last devlog titled "AI is hard" I am guessing he is talking about NPC/Hostiles behavioral programming and not the AI that most of the western world is super hype about (Tensor, Wattson, ChatGPT, Dall-E)?
