The way I played it was
Monday: Dagny scene, working in front of the brothel, meeting some a-hole
Tuesday: Same Dagny scene, working in back of brothel gets you short scene with evidence but working front of brothel gets you no scene at all -- you're just kicked outside with +1 Submission.

The whole setup only works in a small country. BB tells her that either she does what he says or her reputation would be ruined and she wouldn't be able to get a job anywhere in the nation. If it were in America -- say, a major East Coast city -- she could just move a few hundred or few thousand miles away to a new city and nobody would know or care about her humiliation back home.

That's incorrect at her position as upper management in a very small industry. Also the internet we assume is a thing in the Special Request universe, and nude pictures will be found by someone in her new city. Also she has a husband and a father, I think they might notice if the MC just grabbed all her clothes and left town.

I decided to start a new save and alter Laura's stats shortly into the story, but the game isn't accepting my edited save file, eventhough it is giving me a prompt of whether I trust the file or not. Is there any way to go around this?

My mistake, the walkthrough is on the patreon of someone calling themself B.B.,which coincidentally is also the nickname used for "Big Boss" in the game.
