I'm beginning to find this game extremely frustrating. My Laura now has almost 200 corruption, and so much of the time she's just utterly miserable. The whole point of a female protagonist in a corruption game is that she gradually enjoys the sex more and more, even when it's humiliating. Sluts in these games, have a lot of demeaning sex, but over time they learn to love it. And by now, Laura should be admitting, at least to herself that she's enjoying most of this. But the Dev seems determined to have her wallow in self pity and misery, which makes for very unsatisfying fare for the player. Yes, we all know that in the real world, that's the sad truth for most women in Laura's position, but this is supposed to be fantasy, and enjoyable. And if the protagonist isn't enjoying it, then how can we?

The worst part of this game so far, is that the Dev seems obsessed with Laura wallowing in misery and self-pity. If you're going to corrupt a character in an adult game, then why would you not allow her to get pleasure from the corruption eventually? In some scenes Laura does enjoy herself, but in a lot she doesn't or she appears to be just going through the motions. We all know that what is happening to her is horrible and she's surrounded by characters who just plain obnoxious. But the beauty of a corruption game, is that the corrupted female can rise above that, by converting all that nastiness into pleasure and exstacy. Just by becoming a slut and subverting the horror, she can overcome all obstacles. Therefore, I just don't understand the Dev's reticence to just let Laura enjoy herself, even if it's just in her own head. Because by now, she's corrupted enough to be in that position, most of the time.So sad, because I play corruption games to save the FMC, and make them Self Confident, Strong and Independent women. Yep that's the fact jack.
We have periods in this game, where this seems to happen, but then suddenly it all reverts and she's back to being miserable again. Why the inconsistency? She should be making steady progress, not yoyoing backwards and forwards? I want to enjoy this game, but often I can't because the main heroine is just so miserable and wallowing in self pity. I want her to love sex, but so much of the time she just hates it. And in a game of this nature, that's not good.
What you're describing is more to do with domination than corruption. The main point of corruption is to subvert someone's attitudes to a particular topic. So in this instance, you want to make Laura totally accept sexual acts, that she previously rejected as beneath her. Corruption is not about forcing people to do stuff that they don't want to do, it's about changing their attitudes, so they do want to do it.

I disagree, My chosen path was corruption but neither BB or Laura are completely corrupted by Linda (BB's Mom) so they still have agency and the possibility of redemption. Laura has to survive with the choices she is given and she has been surviving quite admirably by being smart and gaining advantages where she can. BB is still a crime boss and a bad person isn't fully corrupted and even helps Laura avoid some of the bad situations. So in this path as you stated, Laura begins to Rise above all of that and she is intelligent.
The Fully submissive corrupted path, she is a doormat and BB is a reprehensible asshole that goes along with his mothers plans for Laura. She is not rising above and is a doormat for everyone. Who made her this way the PLAYER did, not the Dev, it is one possible path that we are not forced to follow, so your in game choice's makes this a good title or bad title depending on what you decide.
My theory is the people who whine and cry about poor Laura are the same people who blindly follow the fully corrupted path and it get's to be tiring when that's all they follow. Then they come into the thread complaining and never trying a different path.
The inconsistency in her moods is the same as real life inconsistency in all of our moods, and is very realistic. She is not always miserable or always happy, she is surviving as best she can with what she has. Poor people are not always miserable even though they are poor, everyone has a bright spot in their life that brings them some happiness and pulls them out of misery.
If people choose to stay on the Misery, fully corrupted, dark path that's on them it's a miserable tiring path with very little hope. This game in my opinion is better when you play it like and actual game and make smart decisions to increase Laura's agency and the hope of a happy ending.

She's not yet corrupted and maybe the dev wants to represent realistic progress of corruption and it's consequences.
What you want is a female fantasy, this game is obviously a male gaze just like 99% FMC games.
Finally someone who knows what's corruption actually. Many Devs and players like it but don't know what represents which makes me think they aren't even adults.

She's only miserable because the Dev insists on making her that way. She could accept her new reality, and learn to enjoy it. Yeah, maybe in real life, nine times out of ten that would have a really bad ending. But this isn't real life, it's fantasy, and in fantasy you can have the unlikely scenario of someone becoming a total slut with no truly negative consequences 100% of the time. This isn't social commentary where we're trying to make the world a better place by depicting the woes of downtrodden females accurately, it's pure fantasy which is supposed to be enjoyable, and if your protagonist is mainly not having a good time, it ceases to be that.
Now I get it, you want Laura's path through this game to be more nuanced, and don't like your characters totally succumbing to a slutty lifestyle, maybe because you associate some negative societal connotations to that. I know for a fact that it's possible to live that way, and not end up totally screwed by the system. It requires a particular mindset that I wouldn't recommend to most people. But this idea that's it's wholly bad is just nonsense, based largely on individual prejudices. So even though you find it boring, a lot of people don't. And their desire for Laura to surrender to her darker inclinations and still find some positive outcome for herself, is just as valid as your desire for her to keep fighting BB's evil machinations. In any case, there's more than one way to skin a cat, and just because she succumbs to her dark desires and enjoys it, doesn't mean she cant stop fighting to get even with BB. A totally corrupted Laura could even end up becoming BB, and get her revenge that way. This idea that Laura has to find some kind of redemption at the end of the game, so she can return to some kind of normalcy, is perhaps what you want. But she doesn't have to be redeemed to have a positive outcome for herself. Because after all this is pure fantasy and being bad doesn't need to lead to a negative ending.

I think she's now corrupted sufficiently to begin seriously enjoying it, even if she's only secretly enjoying it. She can still deny it to everybody else, whilst still inwardly admitting that she's having fun, even if it's also degrading or humiliating. When a woman submits to her slutty desires, what many people would consider to be humiliating or even degrading acts, are subverted inwardly to positives. She starts to enjoy it, instead of feeling bad about it. Other people can believe what they want, because once you stop worrying about what other people believe, you can just concentrate entirely on the pleasure that you derive from those acts. The Dev still has Laura worrying about what her neighbours and friends will think of her, if they discover what she's getting up to. Which at this point is pretty obviously moot, because it's inevitable that they will, if they aren't already. Laura is supposedly a smart woman and she should be able to see this, and be starting to prepare herself for everybody realising that she's no longer the sweet innocent girl they once thought. And the way you do that, is first acknowledging it within yourself. But instead the Dev has Laura continuing to delude herself, that nothing has changed. By now after all the shit she's been through, she should be passed that stage, and there are some scenes where it appears she is, only for her to then row back into delusion. And I don't understand why that's necessary. We need steady progression to self acceptance and not this ridiculous yoyoing that characterises so much of Laura's current behaviour.
Laura currently walks around the city dressed like a hooker, and most people would likely construe that as evidence that she's a slut. So why does she find it so hard to envisage that they're not actually already thinking that? It's not rocket science, it's totally obvious. A lot of people believe the worst, even if the woman just likes dressing in revealing clothes. She even thinks that herself, so why wouldn't she believe that everyone else would? It makes absolutely zero sense, to have Laura continue to delude herself, that somehow she can come out of this, without people thinking that she hasn't changed. Because everyone who knows her, can see that she already has.

So you are advocating for him to ruin this game the same way Anna Exciting was ruined by turning her into a Happy Hooker.
I had to go back and refresh myself on our previous discussions in that thread that ruined the game.
The Happy Hooker route, where she starts fucking and sucking everything in sight with no plot direction or agency to speak of.
The Happy Hooker should be and End game Option, not a long boring path to go down because it is boring as all hell. I couldn't begin to tell you the last time I enjoyed and update from Anna because there is zero plot and story, it's all just her mindlessly smiling and fucking everyone happily. If mindless porn is your kink or happy submission then stick with Anna.
Special Request gave Laura agency and a well defined plot, the characters are engaging and the mystery is great. Seeing Laura deal with these challenges, survive.. and yes slowly submit on some paths is what makes this game GOOD. PornHub may be more of what you are looking for than a very detailed game with a great story.

That's only your interpretation that it''s being ruined, a lot of people disagree with you. What is boring as hell to you, is not boring as hell to them. In fact, what you're advocating, is what may be boring as hell to them. You say that should only be the end game, but your statements suggest otherwise. Because you don't really want Laura to succumb to her dark desires. You obviously view such an outcome as ultimately bad, and you want her to keep struggling against that, to never surrender.
I don't personally believe that surrendering is bad, or boring. It is possible to create interesting and hot scenarios even if a character has already largely succumbed to her slutty inclinations. The corruption process doesn't just stop because the protagonist is no longer struggling against those inclinations. She can always slide a bit lower. The way you describe it, is like Anna for instance has already reached the bottom of the barrel, but she hasn't, she still has far to go. So why shouldn't that form the basis of a game, and why shouldn't it be interesting and just as relevant to those who enjoy such content, as people who enjoy the kind of outcomes that you prefer. It's almost like your suggesting they're idiots to not share your own preferences.
All I'm saying is, that Laura's actions do not make any sense, unless she's actively trying to resist BB. Now I'm not saying that there isn't a route, where Laura is following this pathway, because there obviously is, but surely on the submissive route this should not be the case. And on that route by now, she should have started to accept the new reality in her life, that humiliating and degrading sex acts can actually be fun, when you subvert conventional societal beliefs. But the Dev seems loathe to do this, and insists on Laura suffering the same woes, that she has on the other route where she's intent on resisting BB as much as possible, and retaining as much of her old lifestyle as she can. I'm not saying that that isn't a part of the game, just that the part of the game that opposes that (where Laura is supposedly submissive) currently often doesn't make sense, because if you're submissive (or becoming that way) eventually you stop fighting, and accept the new reality. And then you start to enjoy, what your old self might have once considered demeaning.
I just feel we've got beyond the point ( at least on the submissive route) where Laura should be continuing to resist ( at least with her inner dialogue). She should know by now, that there is no returning to her former life, because she likes being submissive too much. Once you acknowledge that, everything changes and you stop worrying what other people might think or the possible consequences, because you know it's inevitable and you have to restructure your life to accommodate it. Obviously, Laura will continue to resist BB to some extent ( in terms of discovering the truth about his organisation and possibly bringing about it's downfall), but as far as the changes to her sexual self are concerned, they are now irreversible on the sub-route, so continuing to resist them is pointless, as well as counter to her own sense of wellbeing.

Sadowdark, you are correct, I finally made it to newer content and the changes to the art stye isI like the first one at the beginning of the game
not great. Laura still looks the same but Leina and Reina the two office workers look so different I didn't even recognize them. I'm definetly not a fan of the new look and I agree with you.

A) Time - In the Game world this all takes place in 6 weeks atm. So in your opinion she should go from being a strong educated married executive, to happily except her blackmail life and embrace being a whore in 6 weeks. For us this game started in 2020 but for Laura it has been 6 weeks.
B) Corruption - Story - Plot... Let's humor you, and say Laura now loves being a happy whore and fully embraces it. Where would the story go from there? It's a rap for a corruption game when the protagonist is fully corrupted it's no longer a corruption game. It's a happy hooker game and just like Anna it turns into nothing more than mindless porn with no plot, story or tension. It's an end game as there is nothing left but Porn.
I also do not find the porn in this porn game appealing at all. How can you get off when the MC is either bored by or actively hating the sex she partakes in?
I also get the "reality" of the circumstances she's put through but in the end it doesn't result in good porn. Maybe the plot is interesting to some but without hot scenes I never see the point. To that end, I'm better off watching a movie, reading a book or playing an actual videogame if you want your input to be a part of it. I don't know how people come here for stories, there's seriously much better ones in the media previously mentioned.
The "go watch pornhub" is also a dumb take because it ignores the possibilty that I may prefer rendered characteres to real people and I also prefer a bit of story to create an erotic setting around the scene.
I've not played this game in over a year and reading previous comments made me realize why. I used to support the game back in the early days because I particularly enjoy FMC games. I remember the dev asking for feedback and I mentioned oftentimes Laura would be having sex and it was just like she wasn't there, she just lays there, pokerface, like nothing is happening while her mind goes on a guilt trip. The dev said it was hard for him to portray arousal with him being from a very conservative country and suggested he'd try to improve this but I see this is built in the story for Laura to constantly remind herself she isn't allowed to enjoy sex and should be ashamed of herself when she does which are real mood killers for me.
I know people may like the game the way it is but it doesn't do it for me. Not asking for anything to change as I said, I put it in my backlog and I've been ignoring it since but I don't know how you can get off watching the MC be so damn miserable. There's no corruption here, only horror and pain for the MC.

It doesn't do it for you. That's perfectly fine as 99% of the games on this site probably don't do it for most of us. When you start a corruption based games and don't expect or accept corruption is just silly. Games like AWAM don't do it for me but it does for a lot of people, the difference is I don't go into that thread whining about how boring and slow that game is.
Try the game, if people don't like it they're is literally thousands of games on this site that may DO it for you. If Special Request doesn't do it for you then why keep coming back and whining about it every day, month, year...
Use the search function and find another, Do you repeatedly try Futa, Gay, Beastiality games and post in there threads about it not doing it for you?
Zara Scarlet and I are discussing Laura's level of corruption and her in game attitude about her corruption, not if the game as a whole Does it for us...
If it's not doing it for you simple use search and you will probably finds one that caters to whatever kinks you have.

Also on the topic of unsolicited advise, maybe next time someone posts about how misery isn't hot or how there is no corruption, just flatout ignore it, there are plenty of other posts you can read and enjoy.

Forget the oddness of the dialog,bizarre vice city and condensed reality time frame-the tension/depravity/naughtiness even sadness just went "puff" the minute she became a full time lovin it whore.NO believable shame or regret-corruption done! (hope everything is fine for you.After this... let me help you to better understand why also the author realized that it was better to create a kinetic VN version and he understood this precisely from the posts that contained complaints about Laura's completely nonsensical behavior.
I'm sure that you are playing and talking about the "useless-for-me" sandbox version...
This is a VN--- if you play the Kinetic version where there are only 2 routes you will see and follow only one of them;1. "the Corruption" and s. "the Pure" and you will be not allowed to mix them as on sandbox...
Kinetic version comes with consistent Laura behaviour!
These 2 paths are the main paths... sandbox allow to mix these 2 paths, but mixing path can only works in the first half part of the game, but when the plot moves beyond the point in which the player is discovering the story... the two paths become increasingly prevalent, and many of the choices made earlier that blend the two main paths lose their consistency.
In sandbox you can mix this 2 routes... but this make Laura behaviour senseless
I really suggest to play the kinetic version and you will see the Laura-submissive-route you are talking about simply doesn't exist in the plot... she has no choice.. she must accept or someone of her family or her friends or the orphans she cares so much about, could suffer serious accidents
Laura is under mafia blackmail... she has no choices!!
It is sandbox version that can make Laura behaviour senseless (and you are right in this bc sandbox just mix the 2 main paths of the plot)
... SANDBOX STRUCTURE IN A LINEAR STORY JUST SUCKS! As always.
