You're the first person to notice that, I can't believe no one noticed that since the demo launch.
It's based on the thread update date afaik. I think if it's not updated in a year or more it gets the tag automatically. Also, I just noticed someone put the [Abandoned] tag in the thread, the game is definitely not abandoned.
There's been no updates, even status updates, since April last year. Why would people assume it's still being worked on?Also, I just noticed someone put the [Abandoned] tag in the thread, the game is definitely not abandoned.
thats... literally the developer, and they come on here for nearly every comment and provide updates on how the project is going. They explained in a previous comment that irl work stuff has made it hard to work. I think the appropriate tag might be "onhold" as updates arent frequent but its far from abandoned when the developer is literally actively talking about the projectThere's been no updates, even status updates, since April last year. Plenty of games are marked abandoned and deserve that tag on this site, even when devs are active. This is abandoned by definition of this site.thats... literally the developer, and they come on here for nearly every comment and provide updates on how the project is going. Yeah, I love the game and am glad the dev is active on the site but the game deserves an "onhold" tag at least because of the lack of new versions for a long time.no hate to the dev but abandoned is abandoned, same as my projects lol
Just report the OP that you still haven't abandonedAlso, I just noticed someone put the [Abandoned] tag in the thread, the game is definitely not abandoned.
Thats not how that works. If the game hasn't got an update for 18 months, or the dev couldn't be bothered to write anything on any of their pay sites for 3 months then a game gets the prefix. And will only be removed with an actual update.Just report the OP that you still haven't abandoned
Game Uploading Rules2. Abandoned: used in the following cases:
- The developer states that the development has been permanently suspended.
- After 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc), we will resolve special circumstances or scenarios on a case-by-case basis (no creator accounts, creators developing for free, Patreon accounts under review/ban).
- No game update has been released for an abnormally long period of time (>18 months).
- Game threads that are marked On-hold for over 6 months with no game update.
- Note: this prefix is only removed upon the release of a new update for purchase/download.
