OSX:

WIN32:

WIN64:
I got various virus and trojan warnings, not only from heuristics. Better try these on a virtual machine...

This is for the April 2020 version. The previous version had no such issues.

Looked at this a few times now.. Absolutely no idea. No instructions whatsoever - it doesn't even tell you if you're playing Red or Blue, and that's just the most minor of the problems. Clicking on units just tells you who they're supposed to be. No clues about how you're supposed to instruct them.. I download the latest version in the hope there will be some user-guide this time, but no.
I agree the old game engine was clunky to an extreme, but once you knew it was Selectacorp, you could kind-of get into it (even if, like Wisteria Lane, there were aspects that still leave me mystified).. this is just incomprehensible rubbish. Sorry

How's the new version?Still lackluster?
Of course it is. They’ve made no intelligent decisions in years. Spoils of War 1 was their most unplayable, off-putting, least rewarding game, but one outspoken Patreon supporter who loves it, convinced them to waste years on making a sequel.

They used to use stolen photos of European models. The photos were stolen and that needed to change, but the pictures used to be shot by professional photographers, and the women were perfectly cast for the roles they played. Now they hire overweight, aging porn stars who are totally miscast for the roles, who can’t act at all, and they pay these women to film themselves. They use inadequate lighting, photography, directing, camera angles, and they have no acting skills, so these scenes just show completely miscast actresses in roles they don’t suit at all, blandly reading lines, and it’s just plain terrible visual storytelling. IMO, they should have used 3d assets.

I would love Selectacorp-style, “exec-to-sec” storytelling with good Daz models in a Renpy engine. They’ve chosen instead to devote years to repeating their worst mistakes: tedious, buggy gaming engines, with women who don’t suit their roles and incompetent performances.

In the April version you can build a base, make troops, conquer multiple provinces. Once a province is conquered you can establish a governor, use edicts, build buildings. You can place your ministers into ministries and use those too.

Leaving a troop in a conquered location (farm, city, etc) will slowly heal them.
How do you make troops, build a base??? How do i establish a governor? I conquered a ton of provinces and after a while the enemies spawn.

The May build is avalabe for 5$ patreons now btw. If anybody would be kind enough to share a version of the game where you can SAVE that would be very nice indeed.

Is there any benefit to raid over ambush and is there anything can do except attack until your units all eventually die (I don't see anyway of healing them and can't seem to buy more despite having resources).
